I attended ECPI University for about two monthsfrom January 27th, 2025 to April 6th, 2025and man, what an experience. I was an online-only student. I never once set foot on a physical ********* first, everything seemed fine. A few classes here and there, nothing too crazy. But after I left ****, things took a sharp turn. Trying to get in touch with anyone at the university after withdrawal is borderline impossible.I emailed my financial advisor with one simple request: a full itemized breakdown of my charges and student records, especially for the last two terms. What I discovered? I was being charged nearly $8,000 for a semester I never even completed, and nearly $11,000 for room and boardwhich is wild considering I never lived on campus or used a single housing service. And their response?A shrug.A canned message.A "sorry, this isnt my department" excuse, followed by an instruction to wait 30 days for a "back office" to maybe contact me. And if they dont? Then Im supposed to reach out again and ask them to try again. This is unacceptable.ECPI is quick to send you tuition charges and loan information, but when you ask for transparency? Silence. ******. Departmental runarounds. If youre considering ECPIask yourself what happens after you enroll. Will you get support? Or just a confusing bill and an empty inbox?I am now pursuing formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau and potentially other consumer protection agencies. This is not how students should be treatedespecially when it comes to something as serious as student debt.

Stay away from this school. Especially online. Do not believe anything they tell you when you inquire about the school. A year into the program and now looking at attending another college, i was contacted by the financial **** almost a year into the program in regards to a gap in tituation. After almost a year. Further evaluation of my financial document noted that they were trying to get me to sign without an explanation showed a charge of almost ***** for housing and food. I am an online student. When asked for an explanation they stated that was a comparison to what other schools would charge. Not the case when the document was sent via edock to be signed. Nowhere on the bill did it state a comparison to. It was a total for attendance at ****. When I insisted for an answer, they swapped me to another advisor without notice. Still no help. Had an instructor accuse students of AI use in class. Would happily report every week on what students were no longer attending due to his detection. Speaking with a second student advisor " was not informed of the first advisor switching" stating the need to get into another class due to the teachers behavior, resulted in the advisor dropping me from the course. When contacted and asked why I was dropped, the advisor stated she miss understood. Now I will have to pay a re enrollment fee to attend. Very unprofessional and very driven on allocating money from the student rather the facilitate the students growth. If you have an issue with the school, good luck getting anybody to answer or help. Look else where. Avoid this school.

Best advice: do not waste your time here. This school is only worried about taking as much money from people as possible. The class work could be so informative and occasionally there's instructors that actually care- but if you decide to enroll, I hope you have deep pockets and don't mind extra tuition fees, even when not enrolled. Oh, and make sure you check all bills you recieve, math isn't quite their best subject. Also, when you tell them they charged you a whole extra 2k in tuition, they won't respond. Better luck to anyone trying to enroll with this place.

They dropped the ball on my finance plan and forgot I existed until halfway through the year when they gave me half as much notice to pay the tuition in full. Oh yeah, they also kicked me out of my classes, dropped my GPA, ruined my ****** list streak, and expect me to still fork over 10K for four months of school. Get a degree from anywhere else.

From 2012-2014, I was enrolled in the ***EET program while in the military. I didn't mind the bad reviews because it didn't reflect my experience. Then I was enrolled in a class with an instructor by the name of ***********. I didn't quite follow the material well enough to complete the assignments, so I asked for help. I got a generic 'read the material' type of response. I re-read the material again and again but still needed help to understand it. I asked again multiple times for help, and he didn't even respond to me after the first request. Even after complaining to my adviser, I got no help. The school assigned me the same class with the same instructor again immediately after the first class ended. Still no help when I tried to ask for it. I ended up dropping the class due to a deployment and never went back to finish since I assumed they would not assign me (or didn't have) another instructor. Maybe a year or so later, someone from the school tried contacting me claiming that I owed them some money and I needed to call them back to set up a payment plan. I had not re-enrolled and did not have any outstanding fees, so I didn't call them back. Possibly that was just a scam, or possibly the whole school is nothing but a money-hungry diploma mill. I never heard anything else about it either way. Expecting to get some quality electronics engineering tech education from an online program was my mistake. Their mistake was thinking that they were providing it. I would not recommend this program to anyone.

So where do I begin, let's just say I graduated from ATI their sister school and found ATI was now offering associates degrees. I contacted ATI and was told i could take three online classes and that would satisfy the associates degree, I paid the application fee even though I already attended and graduated from there. After I get excited then I get a call saying no you have to do some in person classes as well even though I had been assured I didn't. So even after that bad experience and a colleague telling me don't waste my time I start the process with ecpi. The original admissions person I was working with stopped responding all of a sudden then called me one day saying she was leaving and found a better a job(i can imagine). I continue with ******* who was super professional and prompt, but the hurdles I faced with getting a letter of the expenses to turn in to my company was like pulling teeth. After I requested numerous times and finally got a report, my job denied it because whoever typed it up put in the wrong dates. When I expressed how this made my credibility at work look I was told how can they question you? Well if someone is repeatedly requesting a financial document then its submitted with wrong dates how does that look. After I go through all of this and purchased a chromebook for school specifically, now you would think with all of this going on and the waiting game someone would say before all of this is submitted that I would need a windows based pc. I finish the first class, i told them that i would get a windows pc when funds permitted but who has disposable funds to just keep buying computers. If I knew that was the requirement then I wouldve purchased a windows pc and not a chromebook. So I was withdrawn from the program for lack of proper technology. Yes a big waste of time.
