      Why would you have salesmen walking a neighborhood at 9:00pm. I do not appreciate the knocking.

      I wish I could give them a minus rating. I canceled my contract with this company after the service time had ended. They claim to have come to my house and preformed a service on my whole house in August 2024 and they want $125 for the service. That would have been impossible. I was in ***** the whole month of August. They could not have done the service, my yard in completely fenced in and the gates were locked. The only area available for service was my front yard! Plus why did they come if I had canceled my service! They claim to have sent me a text and since I didn't answer, they performed the service. Like I said, I was out of the country and could not respond! I have spoken to people at the local office and corporate. No one has solved the problem. They have sent my balance due to a collection company. I never will do business with them again!!!

      Saela is a useless company, just getting people into contracts, when their products do not work. My wife got into a contract without knowing, when the salesperson happened to tell her that signing up would help with college. She wanted to help the kid without knowing what we were getting into. I got this product sprayed in our house and we would see spiders and lady bugs, right the next day. I have complained once, and then the second time I wanted to cancel when I found the service to be ABSOLUTELY USELESS - I bore with them for 7 months. But they were not willing to waive the contract fees. There is no where to actually complain about the BAD practices they are working with. I wish there were better places to report such companies that still are out there CONNING people to get into contracts, when their products are ABSOLUTELY USELESS.

      What a completely incompetent company with terrible management and worse contract. As said prior, by other reviewers, they alert you several days ahead of service asking how they can up-sell services for the visit. I've told them every time I was alerted NOT TO UP-SELL me on services. I tried to cancel my 9 visit agreement and was told to call back after my last visit next October. Today's up sell was mice infestation. I advised the technician *** that my agreement included mice coverage in my garage and 1 additional room. He responded that I was not covered for mice. Since I sent him a copy of my agreement, he quickly pivoted and offered to start treatment for mice in 2 rooms. I am now disputing this issue and holding them in breach of contract. RUN, DON'T WALK AWAY! Beware of the slick salespeople riding the neighborhood on his Segway scooter, dropping neighbors names that are just made up people. This is one of the worst service companies I've ever dealt with.

      This company is attempting to falsely bill for services not rendered. I have proof. When attempting to escalate I receive no return calls and they will not allow me to cancel this contract. How do I go about getting help for this? How do I file an official complaint?

      Saela did a door-to-door sweep in our neighbor last Aug. A very personable young salesman promised exceptional service & named neighbors who signed up. He said they would contact our current service & cancel for us & would spray inside/out that evening. A professional looking tech arrived 30 min later. I always look at reviews before entering an agreement & am angry that I did not this time. We signed an 18 month contract for $159.99 every 2 months. As per the contract, Saela was to notify us electronically 1-3 says prior to service. This did not happen in Sept or Nov; we received a text about 45 min prior to ************ were not home once. The tech sent on one call was very sketchy; appeared to be on drugs (missing teeth and glassy eyes, obese with shirt partially tucked in). After 2 complaints, we received notification 2 days prior in Jan but were oot. The tech called & said he found rat activity outside; we agreed to rodent package for $350. ****** checked outside traps & inspected the attic when we returned home 1 week later. He showed pictures of mice trails/******* in the attic & warned of hantavirus risk. He said heavy activity treatment would be $15,000 (remove all insulation, disinfect, and apply boric infused insulation). Ours was light and would cost $7376 to remediate. When I told him I would be getting more bids, he was taken aback & asked me to share bids saying he would go to his manager & try to get a better rate for us. This reeks of deception. After finally reading reviews on this company on BBB, Yelp and Reddit, there is a consistent theme. We were given bad info re rat control (not told to take down bird feeders). We had stall tactics & no return calls trying to end our contract and have contacted a lawyer to avoid termination fee of about $950. We researched and found a rodent service thats been in business for 65 years with 4.9 rating to get rid of rats for $425, guaranteed. Two inspections found no mice activity. Saela is a smooth scam!

      I have completed my contract and am now on a month-to-month agreement, so canceling my service should be a straightforward request.I waited until my contract was up and originally attempted to cancel my service in August 2024, but they refused to process my request. Hoping to give them another chance, I was assured I would receive a discounted service; however, I was still charged the full price. Since January 15, 2024, I have been attempting to officially cancel my service again. Despite following their stated process and making repeated verbal and written requests over the past week, Saela continues to refuse to push the cancellation ********** addition to the cancellation issues, I am paying for both inside and outside treatment, yet they have consistently failed to treat the inside of my home as requested. On the most recent occasion (1/15/2025), they didnt even knock, call, or text to let me know they were at my homeeven though I was there and available. While they claim they will re-service at a time that works for me, they fail to follow through. I work from home and am available all day, so accommodating my schedule should not be difficult.Furthermore, I have noticed discrepancies in their billing and service frequency. Services, which were supposed to occur roughly every 12 weeks, have been provided closer to every 10 weeks, resulting in additional charges I did not consent to. My contract clearly stated four services per year (once per quarter), but they have come five times per year and charged for each visit, even though re-services within the 12-week period are supposed to be complimentary. This wouldnt be as frustrating if they only charged once per quarter as outlined in the agreement. This lack of transparency and disregard for customer satisfaction is deeply unprofessional.I cannot recommend Saela Pest Control in Orem UT to anyone and strongly recommend that you take your business elsewhere.

      STAY AWAY! Deceitful company. I strongly advise NOT to sign any contract with Saela. They communicate poorly and in the end will throw you under the bus rather than serve the customer. I was a great customer who always paid and was kind to them. I attempted to cancel multiple times after my agreement was over and yet a *** still shows up without permission and they tried to bill me for services after I canceled. They were unwilling to resolve my issues. Totally disappointed!

      If I could give negative stars I would. This company used to be Edge Pest control and they were great. Saela is horrible. As many other customers noted they are dishonest, they overcharge, and they practice shady business practices. I have had to have numerous repeat visits and their services are not helping. I have also been charged incorrectly and have made numerous calls. After much frustration I called to cancel and instructed them to mail me the invoice for the cancellation. A week later they debited my account after I spoke with a manger and she stated I had 50 days to pay the invoice and it would arrive via mail. I called to speak with someone and was told the billing department made an error but they would have to escalate the issue and I would get a call back, but they didn't know when I would get that call. Needless to say I am not holding my breath. This is hands down the worst company to deal with and zero customer **********************. I hope they go out of business

      These guys go door to door and dont take no for an answer. They use every trick they can and then when you realize what youve signed up for the refuse to let you out of you contract. They even have work around of you block them with you CC company to ensure the collect on services never rendered. Its a total scam and Im shocked it legal
