    Our company Preferred Business Systems contracted with ScanPrint to purchase two machines which were damaged in transit to us. After much back and forth communication with UPS we were informed that UPS was responsible for damage born to the machine and they had remitted payment via their insurance to the company. We then attempted to reach ScanPrint to inquire about us receiving the refund as well as what to do with the damaged machines which were still in our warehouse taking up valuable space. After months of receiving no response from anyone at ScanPrint, nor a refund we were informed by a UPS claims agent that the payment had to be remitted to ScanPrints Insurance Company, Bizzy LLC. We had never heard of this company let alone contract with them. We have attempted to speak with our contact at ScanPrint multiple times to receive any information about this refund or who to even speak with from Bizzy LLC. We have been bounced around yet receive no response and have recently learned that Bizzy was incorporated in Togo and alarmingly is not considered a United States Company. This matter has been unresolved since April of 2022 and our company, Preferred Business Systems is owed approximately $15,000. This is unacceptable and the lack of communication is extremely concerning.

    I purchased a printer HP PageWide Enterprise Color 556dn from this company on July 27th of 2021. I never received any disclosure saying I only had 30 days to return it. If I knew I only had 30 days, I would return it immediately, because the printer could never connect to the internet and wasn't working properly from the very beginning. A few weeks ago it stopped printing completely (I only used it 5 or 6 times), so I contacted the company (emailed them), but they responded saying I only had 30 days and I should contact a manufacturer. I asked them where they stated that a customer only has 30 days, but they never got back to me. I sent them another email, but never got a response. HP, the manufacturer, gives a year of coverage. It will be a year on July 27th of this year, however, when I checked the status of my printer on HP website, it said the coverage expired on December 15th of 2021. This is unfair to me because I should be able to return it by law. I do think that Scan Print sold a refurbished printer to me without disclosing it. It was not in HP company's box but in a plain box. Dear BBB, please help me to return this printer.
