      On February 2, 2024, I ordered a 'Small Wagon Wheel Chandelier' from Cast Horn Designs, LLC in Logan, Utah. It was shipped to my home in Levelland, Texas. Unfortunately, this has proven to be an unpleasant and disappointing experience. Based on the product description and pictures, I understood this product was made of geniune wood. The product description contains numerous claims that are confusing and, in my opinion, misleading. When I received the item, I immediately noticed that the product was made of a cheap plastic material. It looks and feels more like a children's toy than a household fixture. Upon reviewing the product description, it makes claims such as "This chandelier is an authentic replica of the prairie schooners", "Beware of cheap Chinese knockoff copies of our products! All of our products are proudly handmade in the USA!", "Individually hand-stained and finished for authentic look" (staining is a process specific to wood-working), and "Due to products being handmade...". The description only refers to the material as "medium-density polyethylene", which I later found is a technical term for a type of plastic. The product's description, in my opinion, is calculated to cause confusion as to the nature of this product. I promptly contacted the company and notified them of my concerns. The employee who responded, Stefanie E***, became defensive and sent me condescending responses. A copy of my e-mail correspondence with Ms. E*** is enclosed. The company has offered to accept a return of this product, but intends to hold me liable for the return shipping cost. Because I was misled into this purchase, I do not agree with this arrangement. Therefore, I seek the following resolution. I ask for a full refund of this product and a return shipping label at the company's expense, and furthermore, I ask that they correct the product description to clarify that it is not a genuine wood product.
