    I received an unrequested micro deposit from ************* for account verification. I have no business or relationship with them, so I have attempted multiple times to reach out to the company to try and resolve this and see if there is potential fraud. Not once has anybody picked up the phone and all emails have had no response. I need this to be resolved so I can prevent potential fraud on my account! The lack of response for a matter so urgent is disrespectful and the fact that I have been calling for several hours all day today to be sent to voicemail is unprofessional.

    MX Technologies, Inc. (MX) is a service provider for financial institutions and fintechs.  When MX initiates a microdeposit for account verification purposes, it does so at the direction of its clients in order to verify that a consumer owns a stated account at a third-party financial institution (typically to facilitate a consumer-directed ACH transfer to (or from) the consumer's account with the MX client to (or from) the consumer's account with the third-party financial institution).  MX clients are obligated to obtain consumer consent prior to directing MX to take actions involving consumer accounts.  Because MX does not provide services directly to consumers or have direct relationships with consumers, MX does not have the ability to authenticate consumers in order to respond to consumer inquiries directly.  Any inquiry regarding a consumer's account should be directed to the financial institutions or fintechs with which they do business.
