We had finished paying our wedding planner all of her balance before our wedding day Nov. 5. 2022. I have confirmation of this. After my wedding I realized up. I messaged her asking for my heart frame back. We went on honeymoon with no word from her. 6 weeks later she came back and sent us an email saying we owe her money. She held her heart shaped frame as collateral and would not give it back. On her charges that she sent us she charged for travel fees on the day of the wedding to drop off food. I never would have agreed to her dropping of food if I knew there was charges associated with delivery of the food. She charged 100 dollars for this when the restaurant was within 20 minutes of the place I was at. Again, she never seeked MY APPROVAL before charging my credit card for the aforementioned. She also did this during the reception and used my credit card to charge for waters which I did NOT APPROVE. Looking at her contract: The Clients agrees to pay to the Wedding Planner a total Consultant Fee (not inclusive of any travel/lodging fees) of $3,500 for the Partial planning package plus any MUTUALLY AGREED upon additional services . . . that the Wedding Planner may incur. Now, that does not mean she gets to unilaterally charge a 20% service fee and $100 delivery charge. The contract has no rate for deliveries nor does it mention service charges.
