I hired Mr. Pool Leak Repair to fix a broken pipe. I was losing about a 1-1.5 inches about every 4 or 5 days. They sent a man out that did not speak ********************* I asked him where the leak was and he pointed to two spots and said maybe here or maybe there. Well the lack of confidence did not make me feel easy to have someone dig up my deck on a maybe. In about a week to two they sent out another guy. I was thinking they were going to do another leak test but no they just told me where the leak was and also where there was a crack in the pool and seals needed to be replaced. I told him I just want the pipe fixed, I don't want the seals replaced or the crack fixed as they would have to drain the pool. The day of the repair two men showed up to work but took them about 3 hours before they actually started digging. They did not dig where they said the leak was, but on the opposite side of the pool. The leak was actually in a flowerbed area, so the deck was not going to have to be broken up and replaced. I was extremely disappointed on how much they charged me to dig up a hole in the soft dirt and fix the *** pipe. It was nearly $900! I do not recommend this company and I will not be using them again for two reasons. First, their poor communication and two extremely costly.

Im so sorry that you were not happy with our pricing. Even though you are not happy with the pricing, our 4 year warranty still stands and please reach out to me if you ever have any issues. With that being said, yes, unfortunately, sometimes there are discrepancies on the leak location. 97% of the time we are spot on, about 2% of the time we are wrong but at that time, the customer receives a refund for overpayment within the day of finding the issue and fixing it, just as you did. We fix hundreds, if not thousands of leaks a year, im so sorry you were apart of that 2%. It took the guys 3 hours to start digging because it was the wrong area where the pipe was broken so we had to do another leak detection, we didn't dig till we were 100% certain that's where the leak was. Once the pipe was fixed, we then did a 3rd leak detection to be sure there were no other issues. You got a total of 3 Leak detections. The communication I am confused on, if it's about Nacho, yes, his first language is Spanish but he is one of our best technicians and although it is tough communicating with him, you and I had very open communication. We actually talked 12 times from the moment you called until the moment we were finished with your project. As far as your seals and cracks, yes we did find some cracks and seals that need to be replaced to get your pool 100% to stop leaking, that is our specialty, to make sure there is ZERO water loss.

I am very disappointed with the service provided by Mr. Pool Leak Repair. I paid upfront the required fee ($375) to start the job and they promised detailed report with the finding of their investigations. After I insisted to see where the leak is and how we can fix it they weren't able to pin point where the leak is (1.5 to 2 inches per day) but they provided quotes from $2500 to $45000 to fix "multiple leaks". I was able to find myself the leak location with a simple dye test and fix it with Pool Putty from *******.

I was losing bout 1.5-2 inches out of my pool each day. I hired Mr. **** Leak Repair (Mr ***** to find the leak for $295 and they guaranteed to find the leak. This company was formerly Pool and Pipe LLC. ****** came over for about 30 minutes and ultimately recommended I replace all the seals. The process they used was a little confusing to me, but they basically did a die test. He said the die test indicated some leakage around the seals. He gave me a quote to fix the problem that was between $2k-$3k (1 year old pool). This did not seem right to me or my pool builder so another company came out to find the leak. It took them a while but they found a significant crack in the pipe for the pool cleaner line. They found no indication that the seals had any issue. They fixed the pipe and I went from adding water to the pool 1-2 hours a day to 0. Nothing was done to the seals. Not only did Mr. **** not find the leak but they found a leak where there was not one. This is clearly not what I hired them for so I requested my money back and sent them the report from the repair company who fixed the leak. They promptly refunded the $295.I did not want this to happen to anyone else so I thought the best thing to do is leave a review on ************* and the Better Business Bureau. Before doing so, I wanted to make sure I had all the info and facts straight. I spoke to the owner of Mr. **** (******* on a lengthy phone call and gave him the chance to explain. I spoke to the supervisor of the company who fixed the leak to get there feedback on the situation. I asked ****** to provide me the ***** Tax Payer Number which is PUBLIC information on the comptroller of Texas website and asked about the structure of the business. I reviewed the reviews on ******* Yelp, and the BBB.Wish there was more space to finish my review.
