I hired this guy to do some tree work awhile back, his work ethic leaves a lot to be desired. He shows up to work around noon or later, works for an hour or 2 and then just sits in the tree smoking cigarettes. He originally told me it would be a 2-day job which turned into 4+ and each day it was a different excuse. He claims to be arborist and so on and so forth. It obvious he is not and does not have the proper equipment to do the work he says he can do. I would run a background check on this person before hiring and don't pay him a dime until all work is complete. I made the mistake of paying him full after 3 days of questionable work and then he left 2 days later to go to another job. He gave me a written promise of when he would be done and did not follow through and even after contacting him a week later, he still wouldn't commit to when he would be back to finish the work he started. Now I have to hire another company to come and remove the tree. Do Not Hire This Guy He Is Scam Artist!

The customer, *** ******* and I kept in contact the whole time. First, he didnt want a complete removal of the tree, it was a topping job. This was the week a hurricane hit in the south, causing winds to be extremely high in Tennessee. I managed to remove most limbs, which took more time than expected. Hence the reason, I sat in the tree for long periods of time, Its not that i just love sitting in trees, I was waiting for breaks in the wind to drop these large branches. The tree is directly by a house, along with the neighbor continuing to park directly under the branches of the tree. I had to wait for the car to be moved a few times, along with a young child continuing to run underneath while I was trying to get this job done. I then decided I just needed to bring a lift on Saturday, which wasnt included in the price, this was all out of my pocket. I just wanted to get the job done, and at this point, it was the safest and fastest route, since i was having to maneuver branches the size of my leg around cars, kids and power lines all while fighting high speed winds! I told *** ******* I would have his job completed by the end of the week. We both were in agreement and understanding of this. On Friday, I received a text stating all of my gear left on the property was thrown away and the police would be called if I step foot back on the property. These allegations in comparison to how it really happened is ridiculous. Climbing up into a tree with high winds is a safety issue and not worth my life. Had the customer stuck to our agreement because of all of the obstacles I faced during this job along with the time I wasted, he would had been completed as discussed. I drove by there multiple times, checking wind and to see if the car was still parked in my way. I reached out explaining all of this, each time, about the car etc.. the job would had been completed much sooner had I'd not been delayed with high winds and obstacles, which should had been out of the way on day 1. I did not request any additional money to be paid to me upfront, only the balance of what work I completed at the time. Additionally. I did not whine about money, I thought the customer and I was having life conversations about the economy and how prices have risen. ** *******  will be refunded the balance, minus the money in ropes/gear he claimed he threw away. It's unfortunate anyone can lie and say anything negatively about companies such az the BBB, stretching the ACTUAL truth of the events that really happened.

I really wanted to come on here and post a positive comment but once again nothing has happened. You were hired to do a job in September of 2022. You started working on the 29th of Sept. 2022 midday. On 1 October I paid you in full at like 7pm at night. Your receipt you handed me with your written guarantee states you would be back on the 2 October 2022 to complete work. You did not complete the work as you promised. Instead you drug it out for a few more days and then left to do another job because you didn't want to loose a costumer. You told me once you finished the job you would be back. You never once reached out to me. I had to contact you and when I asked you when you would be back you would give me a straight answer. So I called the Sheriffs department asked them what to do with the 100' of paracord, frayed tow strap, broke safety glasses, small knife and a rope still hanging in my tree. They(Sheriffs) department told me I could through it away. I told them you are not allowed back on my property. The trust is gone. I spoke with a lawyer who sent you two demand letters, one certified mail that you refused to except and the other was in regular mail. The letter gave you two options complete work by the 11 November 2022 or refund me partial payment. You did neither. The bottom line is you feed me a line of how your AC went out, your dog got bitten by a snake and you need money. You have dishonored yourself and taken advantage of my understanding and wronged a Disabled Veteran. Shame On You!
