I am writing to you about the tree being removed in my neighbor's yard on Red Creek Drive and the great disruption that has been done to my property. When crews arrived, we were told they would need to remove part of the neighbor's fence to allow the crane to access the tree. In the process, my wife was talked down to by workers and was attempted to be "mansplained" about the process. As a woman in management who is currently getting her PhD, I can assure you she doesn't need to be "educated" on things by someone talking down to her. What has occurred since the beginning of this process is the removal of part of our gate, numerous tree limbs hitting our roof and scattered across our backyard, movement of our lawn furniture to random places in our backyard, workers walking across our backyard, parts of the fence sitting upon our lawn furniture (that was handed down to us by my wife's grandmother and is very important to her) and a crane that has snow had part of a brace placed in our backyard for the entire week. The process has resulted in damage to the grass between houses and fence that looks to be damaged beyond repair and a backyard that has been unusable to my family (we have a dog) and me during the entire process. We were never told anything or kept updated on the process, even though it affects us as much as the neighbors. I think this action is unacceptable and I want to know the steps that will be taken to repair my property. I have photos of the damage and disruption available upon request.
