    *********************** Tree Service cut down a tree and thinned out another tree at my ***** house in Whitehaven as we were preparing to sell it. May 5,2022.When they gave us a quote it included grinding up the *****. At the time his ***** grinder was broken. he said he would be back in 1 or 2 weeks. I had already written the check and he seemed like a hard working, polite, young man so I went ahead and paid him a total of $1800. $175 of that was for ***** removal which he said as soon as his equipment was fixed, he would be out there.**** called and said he would be there June 29th. Then he called and said equipment was still broken. I let him know we were ready to put house on market.Did not hear from him called July 18th and said the house was under contract and we would need a refund. He assured me they would refund money.August 10 followed up.September 7 followed up. September 21 messaged the company through their ******** page and **** called the next day. He said he would get me the money. I texted him a picture of the quote. He assured me they would refund me the $175.He apologized that he had not gotten back with me.October 13, I texted him following up and he called me back ( October 14) and he said he would bring us cash Monday. He didn't want to send check or venmo, he would just drop of cash Monday or beginning of the week. He said he had forgotten about me.October 18 left mesage and text no response.October 19 texted, left mesage, and contacted on ******** page. No response.**** was such a nice young man and they worked so hard the day they took the tree down. i really wanted to give him a chance to refund the money. I explained to him that I am trying to settle my ***** estate and was anxious to get this behind me. I was going to get him to do some tree work from us.October 19 left mesage, text , and contacted on ******** page - no reponse.
