I paid *****, the owner and a personal trainer at house hustle gym in ********, for 8 thirty minute personal training sessions on 12-29/23 in the amount of $275.00. Im a registered nurse and had major back surgery on 3/9/23. *** lost over 80 pounds since the surgery (unexpectedly) and hired ***** to provide personal training in order to teach me proper techniques (so that I dont rei injure my back) and assist with proper nutrition so that I can gain weight and muscle. I attended three of the 8 paid sessions because of the poor training she provided. During the first 2 seasons she was often talking, texting and doing things on here phone. She was not providing me the one on one personal training that I had payed for. When I arrived at the third and last session I attended, she pointed at the treadmill and said warm up and that she would be back. Approximately 10 minutes later, she re enters the room that Im in ( on the treadmill) as she was walking the client to the door that she had been providing a personal session with during my scheduled session. I cancelled a session with her due to dangerous icy roads. I gave her 24 hour notice. The following day she sent me a text with a workout on it that she wanted me to do. I asked if it was going to be considered a personal session and she said yes unless I could come in for 3 sessions the following week to catch up. I explained that I have a job and I cant come 3 days in one week and that Im not physically ready to be able to complete 3 sessions in one week anyway. ***** owes me $171.88 for 5 unused sessions. *** requested for her to refund me but she refuses. I sent her emails and text requisitions my refund. Her husband is a ******* police officer so she apparently filed an order that I cannot have direct contact with her so I am reaching out to yall to help me get my $171.88 refund that she owes me. *** returned to work since back surgery less than 90 days ago so that is a lot of money to me.thank you

Client purchased one month of personal training for $275. She was informed of our NO REFUND policy at her consultation and it is clearly posted on my website. After 3 sessions, she requested a refund via text. I reminded her that we do not offer cash refunds but I would be happy to RESTART her month of training (crediting her the 3 sessions she used) as we must have gotten off on the wrong foot and I truly wanted to help her. As a second option, I offered her the value of her remaining balance ($177) toward any other service that I offer such as virtual coaching, spray tans, or prep meals. Her first request for a refund was on 1/16. After multiple harassing texts, I blocked her phone number. She then took to social media, posting slanderous posts on my business page and asking any potential clients to call her before doing business with me. I blocked her on social media. She then sent me multiple refund requests on Venmo. Then multiple refund requests on Cashapp. Then she began sending threats via email. Many, many emails. I asked her to stop contacting me as I was clear regarding my refund policy and the multiple offers for resolution. On 1/24 I filed a police report for harassment. She continued to email me on 1/28, 1/31, and 2/3. On 2/6, ******** Police contacted her to inform her that she could discontinue contact with me or face arrest. On 2/13 she filed this report with the BBB.

I am rejecting this response because: I did not receive the personal training sessions I payed for because ***** was on her phone or working with another client. I told her that I refused to argue with her. Yes I sent her several messaged and emails requesting a refund. I do not want any services provided by her company. I hired her to assist me in gaining weight and strength following back surgery. I am an RN and I need to know proper exercise/lifting techniques in order not to re injure my back. That is why I hired her. This service was not provided because of the distraction with her being on her phone or working with another client.
