  Quote me $975. Came late, slacked off. Didn't finish job in 3 hrs like said. After 8 hrs work still wasnt done. Next day i went to look at the house and noticed they dragged furniture and scratched my floors up. I called David and he did not acknowledge the damage just made excuses for his workers. He had to get off the phone instead of resolving my problem. 1 hr later still no call back and i called no pick up. So i left a message that i didn't want the service anymore. He texted me i owes him $1950 when i only agreed to $975. I never authorized to go further or was notified it would cost more. I told i would not pay him the $1950. If anything i would pay for 1 load at $975 as originally quoted. He told me $1950 or he he is bringing trash and dump it in my yard. 2 days later he sent new workrs trying to attemp that. I told them what happened and they left. Next day they dumped trash in my yard thats not even mines when i wasn't present. Also my floors are still scratched up from this companies workers.

  We hired College hunks (Greer) to move us from SC to Ga 1/29/24. We secured the moving insurance as recommended by them. During the move a few items were damaged. A large mirror that wasn’t packed properly cracked and our stainless steel refrigerator had dinks and scratches on it. We immediately took pics and reported to management. Well 7 months later our items are not repaired and insurance won’t cover. We have reached out and been told lie after lie after lie. I finally threw the mirror out and replaced it. I have receipts of conversations from the supervisor that says our refrigerator door (because they won’t repair both) is being ordered. It’s something every month. Finally 8/1 they stopped responding to us. They did send a text to me on 8/27 by mistake to ask if we had filed a police report yet about a few items that’s missing from our move. I respond it’s our refrigerator. They respond back sorry message sent by mistake it was for another customer. Please DO NOT use this company. Spare yourself the headache. Try two men and a truck instead. You have been warned!!! The ********.

  Yall do NOT what so ever use College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving !!! We have used them the last two times we have moved but this last time has been awful and with no help from management to try to get a solution. My sons PS5 “has gone missing” and we have notified them of, which had tons of games bought/ downloaded, all kinds of VBucks he got from his birthday he had saved up on it - he hadn’t got on it since June 20th, and the week after we move somebody was downloading all kinds of apps/video games on his PS5 username. My husband has “lost” a huge change/money jar we can’t not find. My other son’s bed parts got “lost” in the move & now we are out of a $700 bed. They unloaded all of our fridge in a cardboard box and left it in the floor of our old house and did not tell anyone or move it. Thank goodness we still had access to our old location and my husband rode over there, or we would have been out of $300+ worth of groceries. They left $1000s of stuff at our old house also. I got quoted originally for $3200 and we ended up paying well over $5000. Their excuse was “it was more then they expected” but did not give me any reason in the beginning to think my quote would be any higher then what was told. They get charged by the hour, my husband left our house the same time they did, and they ended up showing up 30 minutes later to our new house which is 5 minutes down the road stating they “got lost”. I’ve reached out to management and they keep pushing me off and nothing has been done to fix or help settle this situation! I usually never say anything but this has completely upset me, and we have lost tons of money. Not to mention my 6 year old was extremely upset with losing all of his games/vbucks & this is a very difficult situation to explain to him!!!

  Arrived completely uninformed about what I needed to have moved (3/2 house, no appliances, electric baby grand, etc), had no moving equipment (straps, pads, hand trucks). I already had a truck. I paid for 4 movers. One of them could barely lift as much as my 4-year old grandson. I have damaged dressers, lamps, walls, and they threw away items that were supposed to be moved. I've spoken with two people and told them I expect a call from ownership and it hasn't happened. Half of my items were just dumped in my garage. The stuff that did make it inside was all put in the wrong rooms, even with labeled boxes and us directing them. My piano is still sitting in the middle of my floor, with the legs still off. We had to take two more loads ourselves. They have thrown my moving schedule COMPLETELY off track. And this half-a** job cost me $1200. This was my first and last time hiring movers. Edit: Also, don't auto-respond for me to call you. This company screwed up and it's not my responsibility to chase them down. They can get in touch with me and fix this or I'll dispute the charge on my card. My original quote was for $895. Far cry from $1200. UPDATE: Just got off the phone with the owner 6 days later. He lied, he laughed at me, he was patronizing, and he refused to acknowledge what his team damaged or threw away. He will respond that I cussed him out. I absolutely did. After him starting the conversation saying they did me a favor, and telling me he wasn't going to do anything, and then telling me the BLATANT LIES about what they destroyed, I absolutely did. This company is worthless and the owner (ya know, the one who has his weak-a** son on jobs to the detriment of the other guys) is a pathetic excuse an owner.

  DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION FOR YOUR MOVING NEEDS!!!!! I requested to use college hunks to move four pieces just ten minutes away. Three movers showed up which one stood there the whole time, to do nothing nor did I request three. It only took two hours but I was charged for three. I received an email stating the minimum to be charged was two hours. The mover when I was overcharged wouldn't let me call the office to ask questions. He was repeating I have to be paid or I can't leave. I was over charged hundreds of dollars compared to my previous move six months before. I have repeatedly called this location to talk to the manager with no response. I called corporate and this location told corporate that they had tried to reach out to me. LIES!! The location told corporate they weren't going to look at my bill nor did they care I was upset. One of the pieces of furniture that was moved was damaged. Please pay the extra money for *** *** *** * ****** ******, or etc. Do not waste your money with this moving location in Spartanburg.

  I hired this moving company to move my furniture out of storage on July 22,2022. I informed the manager I was moving my furniture out of storage and moving it into a new town home in Boiling Springs. I was told they were able to meet my needs and they would send movers out to meet me on Friday morning July 22, 2022 at 8:30 am. I was at the storage unit before 8:30 am on Friday waiting and the overs haven't shown up. Jordan called around 8:40 am stating they were on their way and they arrived at 9:20 am. Informed them I need my furniture moved from the storage building into my new home and i was told they could do the job, They sent three guys. These guys seemed to really take their time. I asked about how long would it take to load my furniture since it was already wrapped and they needed to load it and I was told probably about 1 1/2 hrs however I went back within that time and they haven't completed the job. it took over 2hrs and they proceeded to take boxes out f another storage. When they finally got to my home they had used up 3 hrs. It seemed like they were just taking their time because they said we are getting paid by the hour. After 5 hours I told them you all have been working for 5 hours and my furniture in still on the truck and what you have taken off is packed in the garage the clock was moving but the job wasn't getting done and I still had to pay and y money was running out. Jordan I assume was the team leader and he complained the entire time how tired he was the other guy said I am sorry but they called me and asked if I would help clean out a storage building I was never told you were moving. and the other guy said this is my second day on the job. I asked are you not going to set up anything and I was told its been 5 hrs and you need to pay now because i stopped the clock and if we do anything else we will have to start charging you more, These guys were lazy didn't seem to care everything left in the garage.
