    We hired Unique Concrete Design LLC in June 2020 to surface our pool deck as well as build and install an outdoor kitchen. The large countertop for the kitchen was agreed to be made of concrete. About a year after installation, we were getting noticeable pealing/chips throughout the countertop surface. Jose admitted to us that it should not be chipping, that it looks like only one layer of sealer was used and it should have been completed with several. Over the last three years, Jose would promise to come out in a "few weeks" to resolve the issue and it would end up being months. Each time his team would come out and just sand down the chipped areas, touch them up with paint and then just seal over them. The touch ups would remain very noticeable and stand out from the rest of the countertop surface. They were last at our property on/around July 11 and they sanded the affected areas, touched them up with paint and then applied several layers of sealant at one time. Due to the outside temperature and the fact the sealant was still wet between coats, several areas bubbled up. Jose said he would be back out in "1 1/2 to 2" weeks to address the issue. He has not responded to requests to finally just completely redo the surface correctly, as it should have been done initially.

    Please see attached contract with Unique Concrete Design LLC, inclusive of their 5-yr warranty as described on page 2.  The only address we have for them is on the top of the contract, and we always dealt with the owner "Jose".  We have been able to reach him on his cell ***** ********.  The difference in the amount on the contract and what was provided in the complaint, is for a plastic roof covering that we asked them to install at the very end of the project.
