Beverly M***** organizes craft events at various locations. I, along with many others gave her money for an event in September at the South Carolina Farmers Market. She canceled the event within a few days of the date of the event and will not return the money to the vendors. She will not answer emails, texts etc. She has stolen thousands of dollars from hundreds of people.

Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2022/10/14) */ ***Document Attached*** Hi. Unfortunately the September 3-4 event was cancelled due to a lossin the family. The contract Mrs. ******** signed had a no refund policy due to act of God, weather etc. She signed this paper knowing that. I have offered to reschedule the event and use her fee for the next event. She has declined and been rather rude about it. When someone loses a family member, an event is the last thing on their mind. I have been as nice as I can to her, but all I get back is rudeness. The application i submitted is the same as the September event. Most of my vendors were kind enough to move to the November event with no problems. Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2022/10/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I was never rude to Beverly. I was completely understanding and sympathetic to her situation. She told me she would give me the money back since I could not do the Nov show. I will attach as many emails and messages that I can showing this.
