  My husband I hired this man to clear 2 acres of land in Blythewood SC. We paid him $10,000 and he didn't fulfill his contract. First he lied to us about his equipment he didn't have the proper equipment to do the job. He rented the equipment. He lies to us about he timber that was on our land, he stated the we didn't have a lot of timber on the property yet he hauled away quite a bit and he was paid for it. Our land boundary's were marked clearly and the instruction was given to him as to how we wanted the job done. He just tore the land up. He left tree stumps which were suppose to be removed. and he told us he was going to grind them down but he didn't. He left logs on our neighbors property and in the back of our property and on our other lot. He buried the other debree that was suppose to be hauled off in a hole on our property. He ran out of time with the rental equipment and just left our property a mess. Mr. ****** is not a legitimate contractor. We now have to get another company to straiten out the mess he has created. He has taken our money and left our property in such a disarray that it will cost us much more money to get our property in order to build on it.

We, me and the land owner, walk the site off before I started on it, they told me to stay 10 feet away from the power line that ran through the property! Once I finished clearing a week later and it was time for me to get paid the customer ask me why I didn't clear that 10 ft section and i response and said you told me to stay 10 foot from the power line and the customer told me he never said that! After I had moved all my equipment off the property! Below is a pic of the job!! It's completed. Mr. ****** did reach out to my husband and threaten him and his business. First of all the picture that he provided showed that the center of the land and the back of the land were you can see how the back of the property, and how uneven it is I will supply pictures and the contract from Mr. ****** that he did not honor. Also proof that he lied about hauling off the trees, which he buried on our property. We can supply letters from the neighbors that he hauled off two truck loads of cut timber from our property and was paid for the timber. The land was not cleared as he promised and we now have to have to have another company to straiten up the mess he created. I can supply letters from the neighbors and pictures of the mess he left behind. I want to resolve this matter. I am seeking the amount of $8,500.00 to get my land in order for us to build. Mr. ****** did not attempt to come up with a resolution to this problem, he stated we should have contacted him. He was eager to take our money after we talked to him the Friday before we paid him. We walked our property with him and showed him what he need to do, yet he took our money and left such a huge mess. This case is far from being closed. I am not even authorized to sell timber so that is an lie. If they wasn't pleased with the work they should have never paid me!! He buried the trash that he was supposed to have haul away, he lied about the timber he took off the land.We have the pictures of the stumps trees that he pushed on our neighbors land. The original line that was shown to him is still marked that he didn't follow. The land was not raked, and the picture he took was evedent that he didn't follow directions. If you look at the back of the picture you can see how uneven the back of the property is. We want our money back. This would resolve this problem.
