    8/31/2024 My wife and I had our wedding scheduled for that day. It was to be an outdoor wedding however, the weather destroyed our tents and ultimately made it not feasible to do so. We had to make a last minute venue change. The original location was a friend's farm at *************** Carmichaels PA, and we were able to use the banquet hall of an *************** in Rice's Landing which was 10 minutes ******* **** informed us that per his contract, he was not required to perform at the new venue although he was already paid 2200 dollars in advance and was paid to perform music for 4 hours and provide **************** his contract it does state that it would be a rain or shine event and it will not affect his pay, however he would make every effort to continue the performance despite conditions. He did not make every effort. He in fact decided from the moment we had to make the venue change, that he no longer wanted to perform, despite it saying he would make every effort in his contract. We eventually got him to agree to come to the *************** and perform the ceremony music, 1st dance, father/daughter dance, and mother/son dance music. A total of 4 songs. He provided no announcing though, which was something that was specifically paid for in the package we purchased. He then promptly left at around 6:30pm when he should have left around 9:30pm.He did not issue any refunds, apologize for his behavior/lack of professionalism, and making my wife cry on our wedding day.I believe DJ **** is participating in predatory business practices that is allowing to take people's money before delivering on the work agreed to perform and then trying to find ways not to complete said work. He uses an ambigous and vague contract to his benefit to decide when and how he wants to work and can weaponize it against his clients.
