On June 9 , 2024 I gave ******* ********* a check for $18,000 for a partial payment on a building he was suppose to build. He was to start it the week before the 4th of July. I told him when I hired him that I NEEDED this building built ASAP because I have to move and I cant do so until I have this building. It is now August 20, 2024 and he has done NOTHING. I have sent him messages..he always says "hoping to start it next week" and all he does is lie. I told him I found another contractor after waiting on him for 2 months and he's refusing to refund my money. He has done NOTHING...I just want my money back so I can get a building built...I desperately need it to move. I can do nothing without the refunded money that he's refusing to give me back. I told him I found someone else to do it, and now he says he can start it "next week" again...to which I said I don't want you doing it and that I found a more reliable builder. I just want my money back. I have the contract, and I have all the text messages. He even asked me once if the supplies had been delivered because he "released them to be delivered" , but still no supplies and no building. He has lied repeatedly...and I need to move, but I can't move until I have a building. The building was to be done around the second week of July...still nothing. I have all texts to prove everything....
