On February 21, 2025 I hired this company to complete an electrical inspection, file for necessary permits, schedule City inspection and install GFI plugs and a motion light. I have been getting the run around and excuses from the owner. I contacted him on March 7th and he indicated that the city had the property listed as commercial and that he had to prove that this was a residential property On March 10th, I reached out to the ****************, ***** of Permits and Inspections and spoke to the area assigned inspector to get an official update. The inspector indicated that the permit paperwork was not drawn until February 27th. He told me that the paperwork was rejected because it was missing information. I contacted the business as stated above on March 7th and he told me otherwise, as stated above. The inspector indicated that there was simple information that was missing. Furthermore, after my call to the business, the inspector indicated that the paperwork was resubmitted that same day. On March 8th I sent a text message checking to see when we should expect the inspection and how important that I needed power and the business responded that he hadn't heard back from the city; that he had no messages from them and that he would call Monday morning (March 10th). He never called. I called and spoke with the business on March 10th to find out what was going on and how important it was to move forward and I also indicated that it does not take a whole month just to file a few forms for the inspector to complete his inspection. On Friday, March 14th I spoke with the inspector to check the status and he indicated that the business needed to do one more step. I proceeded to send the business a text message with the information from the inspector and the business has not responded. On March 17th I spoke with the inspector again and he indicated that the business insurance/ license had expired. This business ran off with my money and have not rendered services.
