5 starsI have used Champion Waterproofing twice. The first was for my house which was a few years ago and the second was for an investment property last year. ******, the owner, was quick to come out and assess what was needed. He made it easy to schedule and worked me into the schedule quickly. That was very important for the property that I was selling especially since we were getting huge amounts of rainfall. It was also good that the warranty was transferable. I would definitely work with Champion again!Review fromStephen S

5 starsBy sheer luck, I met with the owner, *******************************, to review waterproofing needs in our garage, where we've experienced problems for the past 5+ years. ****** walked thru our entire basement and the problem garage area. He said we looked in good shape (except for the obvious garage problem) and, even though I expressed some concern about some other areas, he did NOT try to upsell us on any additional services. He said we had a pretty basic/simple problem that required only a basic/simple solution. We signed the contract a few days later (after meeting with 3 other competitors) for a very competitive price (and no upfront deposit/payment) and set the project date for about a week later. ********* (*******), *****, and ***** arrived promptly at about 8AM and began work promptly on the project involving a 29' interior french drain and installation of a sump pump which tapped into our existing gutter/drainage system. ********* spent much time with me before the job started to be sure i understood the details and had a chance to ask questions. He also isolated the actual work area to minimize dust elsewhere in the garage. The crew had NO problems with my hanging around to monitor the progress and touched base with me from time to time. They made sure i understood how to test the sump pump from time to time. They cleaned up commendably and did a final walk through. They left about Noon after working about 4 hours. Quite honestly, I can not think of anything else they could have done to ease my concerns. The job was completed in a thoroughly professional manner. I recommend them without qualification.Review fromDonna S

5 starsChampion Waterproofing is a life saver! I've had them for years and had THE BEST customer service one could ask for. Even tho I've not needed to use them but twice, they were at my home in a timely manner and efficiently fixed the issues. ******* came and replaced a burned out pump with no hesitation and was just AMAZING! He knows his job and does it well!!!! I HIGHLY recommend Champion Waterproofing.***************************************************************************Review fromSheila B

5 starsI did my due diligence and received multiple quotes and inspections. My waterproofing needs were long overdue and I was truly ignorant of what I truly needed despite my best Google efforts. The inspector *** came in, inspected my home inside and outside thoroughly then gave me his findings and quote. My jaw dropped. He was my third inspector and quote. Not only did he explain everything I needed he also explained what I did NOT need and according to my other quotes I “needed” what I really did not need and that made me mad to know the other companies were cushioning the job. Also, unknown to him those quotes were $8,000 to $12,000 higher. Then he told me their work is guaranteed. Hell yeah! I got this job done. Happy to report….. money left in my pocket and a DRY basement. -****** *

1 starI had Champion Waterproofing come to my house to assess water coming inside my enclosed garage. The owner himself assured me that their system would take care of water issues I was facing. I signed the contract with a guaranteed lifetime warranty. This was in January of 2021 I believe. Months later with the rainy season, water was coming up through the center of the marble tile floor through the grout joints. The joints were now turning black, instead of staying white. Getting Champion to return was almost impossible. They would promise to get me an appointment, which would take forever. One issue they tell me is I have a humidity issue. I had Champion install a Humid-ex which was rather expensive,(cost and labor). Next when they do come out again, they tell me a partial 50 pound bag of rock salt on the floor is the issue. Now I am told that there is too much clutter inside the enclosed garage, causing the water to come up through the grout joints. The owner just told me today that their lifetime warranty does not cover humidity issues. If this was the initial problem, and the owner himself said that their company would fix the water issue, then why did they agree to do the work knowing all the time that my issue would not be resolved with them? I now have a different company that will correct my problem. They say that Champion used the old sump pump location ( which dad had in place for over 20 years until his passing in 2019). The original pump was not working as it should. I asked Champion for a replacement sump pump. They claim I needed a new system, which I feel I was scammed. Champion should refund my money of around $3,000.00.Review fromAmanda B

5 starsHad Champion out to check a room in our basement that one day had water coming in. (We were referred by a friend that had work done by them and was very satisfied.) It was an odd situation that the water was only in one room. *** was honest with us and didn't exactly know what was causing the issue but told us to wait and see and if it happened again he would be right over to try to see where the problem was. After a few weeks (with no more water issues) we had our exterior french drain checked and there was an issue with the pipe (which we would have never thought of because we have a brand new house). The builder corrected the issue. We appreciated that Champion didn't try to sell us anything and was very honest with us. Just to compare....we had another company out that tried to sell us an interior french drain system for 6K-24K....that company did even seem to care WHY there was water coming in...just wanted to make a profit. We hopefully never have water issues in the basement again, but if we do, we will be calling Champion.Review fromDavid S

1 starHere were the issues in my experience with Champion: 1) The purpose of the contract with Champion was to remove mold and waterproof the basement. Mold remains. 2) The work to be done, as disclosed by the owner, was not done. 3) Champion employees worked hard and were pleasant, but this was a two-day job that was squeezed into one day. One of the workers had to return the next morning at 6am to finish. 4) One of the two workers was literally a minor (under age 18). 5) Workers used store-bought "mildew remover" as a means to attempt to eradicate the mold. 6) Workers did not clean up, presumably because they were rushed. 7) The contract was not adhered to - The diagram of the "waterproofing" of the basement walls as on the contract does not align with the actual work performed in the basement. Lessons Learned: Get multiple quotes and don't trust anyone.Review fromEli R.

5 stars********************* came out to see my home in a timely fashion. We spoke as he checked the outside of my house and then the basement. Although there was some moisture in the air, he was fair and honest and said that I did not need any waterproofing services. I appreciated his honesty and fairness, and wanted to recommend such a person and company to those who want an honest appraisal of their needs. Thanks ***!
