They found termites in an old tree ***** 50' away from the house and then told me I wouldn't be able to sell or refinance the house unless i was on a $4000 treatment plan. They then sent me a work order for the treatment I didnt ask for, and later emailed me to tell me they would not ever do business with me again because my termites issue was so bad. ZERO termites were found in the house. And no termite inspections are required for selling or refinancing with conventional loans. I left a negative ****** review about my experience and 5 minutes later got a threatening text message from the owner saying i had 5 minutes to take the review down. The threatening messages were received at 9:57pm and had me fearing for my safety. Now they sent me a cease and desist, and threatening me with a lawsuit for the negative review. All for a service i didn't even want. Hope you have a lawyer if you do business with this company.

Context: I have squirrels living in the attic of my house, and they have chewed holes through the walls to the outside. I tried for 3 weeks using Havahart traps to no avail. The squirrels were able to acquire the bait while avoiding tripping the trap. So I looked around at local animal trappers and decided to contact ATC. They said they have a two part program where they attempt to trap the animal for the first two weeks, and then the second part they come back and sanitize the areas of the house. Okay, sounded good on paper, they seemed like they know what they are doing. First red flag was that they demanded full price up front. I gave them the benefit of the doubt since they have good online reviews, which ended up being a mistake. Second red flag was that they ignored my concerns and input. I expressed multiples times to the technician, the receptionist, and the CEO that the traps were not working. I asked if they had any other methods if the traps failed, which I never got an answer for (more on this later). Third red flag occurred when I was emailing with the CEO. Instead of acting like a professional and working with me to address my concerns, he got defensive and hostile. He then committed the third flag by denying responsibility for their failure to catch the squirrels after the first two weeks of trapping and tried to blame my attempts to trap them as the reason they weren't succeeded. In other words, they deflected the blame onto the customer. This is a contractor sin and something no self respecting contractor should do. I expressed my desire to no longer work with ATC and demanded a partial refund because I am not going to let them near my house for the sanitization. The CEO has ceased contact with me. Absolute worst customer service. I will never pay full price up front to a contractor ever again.
