    I took a weaving class that had a well-hidden limited refund policy. I emailed early to cancel from the class and no one responded. When I called and was told Id be out $100, even though the reason for cancellation was medical and they could have at least tried to fill my spot from a waiting list, I decided to try to take the class anyway. It was a two day class and I did take the first day. Between my health and the fact that the teacher rushed me at the beginning so that I never was going to get the right yarn to get a project I wanted, I planned a trip to urgent care the second day instead of continuing with the class. I had also wanted to buy a loom, but the only help I got was an arm wave towards the looms. I emailed the owner and asked why she had not responded to my experience. She did not respond.

    I am sorry that I had not responded earlier to this issue. I have been out of the ***************** leading a tour. This was one of the items I had to take care of when I got back.

    I have called ***** and left a message saying I was sorry that she was ill and that I would give her a refund.

    Our policy is that there is not a refund 1 week prior to class.  It is stated on the website.

    But I will be sending a check to her for a full refund.

    I did not respond in time since 1) I was waiting for the check to arrive.  It has not, although I was told it would be put in the mail the following day.  I think this was well over a week ago.  2) I had a problem with the BBB website.

    The refund would be acceptable had it been received.

    The check was written, and missed going into the mail. I went out of town for two weeks, and mailed the check on Oct 21, the day I returned. The check should have arrived by now. If not, please let us know and we will send another check through registered mail in order to make sure you get it.
