      I was informed by a receptionist in the admissions office that Oregon State University lost my transcript and have no way to access my credits and there is no proof I completed any credits but they are still making me pay my remaining balance and keeping my scholarships. They have refused to work with me in this problem and I am now unable to further my education because of a hold they have put on me. I want that balance dropped IF nothing else. I would also like to see the 6000 in scholarship money again if they cant prove Ive taken courses

      I am in the process of enlisting into the Army. However, at the age of 37 I require an exception to policy (ETP) from the Army, which is based on merit, as the cutoff age is 35. As part of this process, I have been asked to provide my college transcripts to build a packet as part of the enlistment process. This application includes a long list of information, including family history, travel history, employment history, and education history. If one marks that he/she has studied in college, he or she is required to submit transcripts for that. Not marking so when one has in fact studied in college would be to commit fraudulent enlistment. I am a senior at Oregon State University as there is currently a hold on the release of my transcripts due to a balance holding over from the previous term in the about of approximately $702. Regardless of this hold, there is a process to have one's transcripts released for employment or scholarship purposes. I was provided the application for this, as my circumstance would qualify for employment purposes. However, *******************, Student Accounts Receivable Manager denied my request for an exception. That denial is not the issue. When I called to provide additional context about why my case may warrant an exception (since ****************** reason for the denial was not entirely accurate), he was very rude and unprofessional. If my case does not warrant an exception, I am prepared to accept that. However, I am not prepared to accept being treated in such an unprofessional and aggressive manner.

      Thanks for the information and were treated in an unprofessional manner.   This will be addressed with the employee next week.   In regard to the transcript, *** policy does prevent access to a trsnacript if there is an unpaid balance.  You do not have to pay off the entire balance due, just what is owed from a prior term.    While we understand the additional request for review, the decision will be the same we are not able to allow the exception.

      Oregon State University is reporting the following date as a late payment on my credit; 1/23. This lateness is not due to my error, their system was having tech issues and there was a language barrier with their outsourced representatives. I've been enrolled in autopay the entirety of this account and have never accrued any lates. I would like Oregon State University to remove/fix this lates on my credit.

      OSU uses an outside company **** to contact debtors in regard to their ******* loans.   We have the documentation from their system of the attempted contact and communications.   Please provide the debtors mailing address ad I will send the documentation.  The student can also email me directly at **********************************************************
