8/30 I had stayed with Cascade Lodge and paid a total of ****** original booking was ******. I was treated like I did not book with them and think they were trying to scam me and steal my money.. I was asked if I had pets and when I said 2 dogs someone else was called in and talking in language I could not understand and said $60 for dogs and when handed my card the gentleman started writing my name and card number on a separate piece of paper then realizing I had chosen pets allowed so wouldnt dogs be free? Was not appropriate being disrespectful to me and argumentative. I have seen similar reviews and think this business is stealing from people and are highly unprofessional with customer service. Quite frankly I think they need to be pursed and charged or potentially shut down for the amount of negatives posted about them. Rooms were not like other reviews had said and believe they have paid for reviews.

After entering the building the female owner greeted me in a very disgruntled manner and started to get argumentative about me having a service dog. She asked for $100 for the dog as I was trying to put money into my account she went and got her husband who then also started getting argumentative with me. They both then demanded no dogs allowed. There is absolutely no reason to treat any customer the way they treated me upon walking in. It has now been a week and I still have not been refunded.

Called early the week of July10th to try to book a room. ***** took my info and said it was the last one. ON the 11th i called in to ask about the room and the woman i spoke to had no record of it. I called 2 more times and they said there system was down and htey had no record. She and one additional man both said they did not see a reservation. I proceeded with making a reservation elsewhere. After the weekend of July 15th i saw a charge from them for $370. I called on the 17th and spoke to ***** who said he'd refund my charge. Called 3 times additionally and finally was refunded on the 27th. That refund however was for $170 rather than the $370 i was billed. Spoke to ***** again and he said they were not willing to refund the remainder because he had completed the reservation. ***** told me the owner would not be issuing the credit and they had done nothing wrong. Plain and simple they had not completed my reservation and took it upon themselves to bill me anyway. Why would i have gone to the hotel after they told me the reservation was not made? I had to find other options for my son's lacrosse tourney. THank you for your assistance. My next step will be small claims court if you are not able to find resolutions.
