  I spoke to Jason from J & G Tree Service and he agreed to come give me an estimate in 30 minutes. An hour later he said he had to run some errands and would come in 30 minutes. After still not showing up I called again and asked what was going on. I said I had to leave for an appointment if he didn’t come right away. I said I didn’t want to re-schedule. His answer, “Go **** yourself and **** my ****!”

  I wish I had read reviews first. All accurate about him showing and not showing. I paid in full and he never finished the job. I hired him the last week of March (now it’s mid June) and it’s still not finished, I don’t believe he plans on returning. When he cut down a tree he cracked a board in my neighbor’s new fence - did not repair it and broke my plastic lattice fence on the way out - no offer to repair it. Charged me $675 to cut down a few branches. My sister said she paid a guy $200 to take down a whole tree. Bottom line is, you can’t present as a professional when the deposit goes down then show up to do the job on substances with no workers with sub par equipment. I believe he owes me money!

  Very Unprofessional! DO NOT USE!! CAN NOT SHOW INSURACE OR LICENSE. Smoked weed and drank on the job. Took longer than what I was 1st told. Wanted all payments made out to him not to the company name. Damaged the neighbors gutter and he ended up cutting the damage part off and placing an end cap on it.

  We should have listened to our gut. When he came out the second time to finalize the job of cutting down our maple, things started to change. He needed to have a 40% down now, the price did not include tax which it did before. He was to come on a Tuesday but the rain was called for so we moved it to the next day. He said he would be here at between 9:30-10am. Then he was going to be a few min late. By 11:45 he said he was in his way. By 1 he finally arrived. Rain was called for at 4:30pm. He told me he needed to rent equipment but had nothing besides a small chainsaw and ladder when he arrived. The trailer lights were not hooked up, he had on only ear phones for protective gear. After an hour of setup and telling his 2 new employees the plan he cut down a branch and his chain popped of and the chainsaw was broken. At this point we are worried that this was not safe based on what we were seeing. By 4:15 only one branch was cut the job could not be completed and the rain was coming. ***** asked to speak to my husband about the plan. My husband said to him that he was concerned for his and his 2 employees safety. ***** got hostile and thought that my husband was questioning his professionalism. He said not he just wanted the tree removed safely. ***** began cursing out my husband with the f-word. My husband said this is not acceptable and said we will not be using his service. ***** continued to rant to his employees about us as he cleaned up and left. We wanted to help a small business. However, when he is not wearing the appropriate PPE the employees are untrained, he did not have the appropriate tools and could be here at a time close to what he said we decided this is not a business to move forward with. He may be ok with lawn service but a 60ft tree is out of his league.

  Stay away from this dude or his services. He hires ********* employees... And then wants to cry all day long about his troubles and what he's going through prior to starting the job. Had a low ball price from them... Knew it was a scam! Wants to meet before the job... When we have already met 3 times already. How many times does it take to figure out one job! Don't waste your time or energy with this dude!! I am always a fair individual and I give reviews based on that principle. Stay far away!
