    This company make a illegal debit on my company debit card for $29. We are BBB members and this is maybe wher they got our card info.

    In May 2021 I was shopping for a web designer online and came across Dbabp.com via “fortwaynewebdesign.com” on Google search engine. I called the number abs spoke with a ****** ******* of *********** ****. He said he was the owner and sole employee. We negotiated and discussed an e commerce site specializing in TShirt designs. He told me I would have to put down a deposit of $2000. I was instructed to send the down payment via Walmart to Walmart money service at his suggestion. I foolishly didn’t question this. Approximately every 45 days over the next 6 months I sent him two additional payments of $2000 for a total is six thousand dollars via RIA money services at Walmart. There were requested to further fund the design and implementation of the site. During this time ****** ******* was in contact with me assuring me all was going fine and the site would be complete and loaded to my purchased godaddy website. This was December 2021. All communication ceased from him after that. I had a family member get involved and in May 2022, we went to the address listed on the business profile with **** in *********** and found his former domestic partner there with the information that ****** had a restraining order in place by her and she had no knowledge of any website created for us and there was no DBABP.com operating there. Spoke to a neighbor as well and left a number. ****** or sometime claiming to be ****** ******* contacted the number by text stating he was aware that we had showed up at the location in *********** and that he didn’t have the money or the website and wanted to make payments back on the $6000 at $100 a month. This was thirty days ago. There’s been no cash returned. Requests for the work to be completed or the full amount returned or a plan of repayment have all been ignored. There’s been no website built. I have the RIA money transfer receipts and the transcripts of texts discussing the website and am pursuing info in legal channels.
