  With all this rain lately naturally we had a leaking foundation. I contacted Cincinnati Dry Shield on Friday morning and Ken was right on getting me a fair, competitive estimate within 2 hours of my initial call. Ken's field supervisor Shane and his crew were out first thing Monday morning and within 4 hours they had years of leaking corrected. I certainly would like to tip my cap to Shane again for the professional install and the amazing job that was done. Plus the jobsite was cleaner than what they found it. Great outfit to have in the area.

  After installing new gutters and downspouts that were a distance from my house, there was still water in my basement. At the Cincinnati **** ****, I spoke with six contractors who told me I would need to install a full range system requiring that they dig out channels in the basement floor in addition to two sump pumps to dry up my basement I spoke to the owner who told me that in 75% of homes, sump pumps were enough. He did not promise me that sump pumps would solve my problem, but after looking at my basement said he thought it would be enough, again no promise. When they put in the sump pumps, they could gravel under my home, which meant that the pumps should work.There has been serious rain since the sump pumps were installed and my basement is dry.

  The work itself was okay. The owner came at some point during the job however did not stay until the end which is understandable. My basement door was wilted prior to the starting job and I was ensured it would not be a problem. Unfortunately the crew was unable to get the door or frame closed and I was told if I couldnt get it to shut to put a nail in the door. That left leaving me a single woman having to place an emergency call for service to seal the door. To add insult to injury I have yet to receive my invoice however the check was cashed the next business day.

  Cincy Dry Shield installed a basement dry system in our house yesterday. Their crew was wonderful. It was so hot, yet they worked diligently all day and were courteous and gracious. The work looks great. We tried to make sure they stayed hydrated, but they had come prepared. We highly recommend them.
