Over the past four months I have made five requests to be removed from Petals mailing list. I continue to get unwanted catalogs from them. I am attaching a sceenshot which shows the dates of each request. While from time-to-time, we have ordered from Petals online, the catalogs are unwanted, a waste of money, and harmful to the environment. Their refusal to honor my request to be removed from their mailing list is insulting and arrogant. As such, we will no longer purchase from Petals. I want to be permanently removed from all of their mail and email marketing lists. Furthermore, we want our personal information removed from their records and that our information not be shared with any third parties.

Several profiles were created as a result of guest orders placed on our website.  We need the name/address of the person receiving the mailings.

**** ********** is not found our system.    We see the attached information is under a different name and has several profiles.

We have emailed this customer that we have stopped the mailing and they will re-occur if orders are continuously placed as a guest.

Kindly contact customer service to help you order in the future.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.   However, I would like them to know that we ordered as "guests" in the hope that we would never be added to their marketing lists without our permission.  While it is unlikely that we will ever order from them again, it would be nice if they had a simple "opt-out" option much like many, many more customer-oriented/environmentally concerned businesses.

      Regards,

      Good Day:

We are sorry you are still receiving catalogs.  We have marked off your profile as a do not mail in Dec 2023.

However you may have a catalog with different information on it that what shows in our system

The best thing to do is email customer service with a copy or picture of the catalog so we can capture the exact information and get the mailings turned off.

Thank You & Have a Great Day

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.

Customer has failed to offer assurance that they've used my address to remove me from their physical mailer, and have asked for me to provide information from one of their catalogs that I no longer have in hand. I expect them to be able to find and remove me from all of their subscriptions.

      Regards,

I have repeatedly called several times for directions how to unsubscribe from the scrolling advertisement on my tablet. The scrolling ad is an obstruction to other information I may receive. The person I spoke to last directed me to customer service. After searching every page of site there is NO "Unsubscribe" on the site. Please find out how to unsubscribe from PETALS. Thank you.

I have asked Petals customer service, on 3 previous occasions, over the last year, to remove me from their US mailing list. Petals does not ship many items to ****** (where I live) as I found out. I don’t wish to look at items that I can’t order. I just received another Petals catalog via The US postal service. I’ve been polite. Now I’m angry. This isn’t just an annoyance at this point. It’s harassment. Please ensure that they stop the mailings as I have requested. Thank you
