After I put out a post to find someone, Fred contacted me and came to discuss my small reno project, combining 2 bedrooms to a fitness/dance room. He was friendly and promised his estimate later the same or the next day. 5+ weeks after repeated contacts and promises for his estimate, still nothing! He is obviously not interested, so why the promises? Why didn't he/they just say so? Why waste our mutual time and risk bad reviews and PR here and on on NextDoor? Why can't folks simply just be responsible and respectful and COMMUNICATE? I would leave ZERO stars if I could.

I retract my comment that Fred contacted me. He was in my contacts, so I contacted him on October 25, 2022 and he came out on November 1, 2022, promising his estimate "later today or tomorrow." After a week or so I called and was told he had been busy and I would have it soon (or something like that). I contacted Reliable Contracting again the week before Thanksgiving and was told I would have it "next week." Post Thanksgiving, still nothing. Baffled as to why he would come out and waste his and my time, I posted to a neighborhood group asking if others had had this experience and seeking new referrals because I decided that he wasn't interested and I was not about to call again.
