I agreed to sell my iPhone 12 Pro to this company for $499. Upon receipt, the company claimed my phone had scratches and provided photos. My phone did not have any scratches on it when I sent it. The company either added the scratches or faked the photos. I was afraid if I requested my phone be returned, that the company would scratch or damage my phone and cause the value to be further reduced, so I accepted the lower offer of $439. It took 13 days for the company to send payment via PayPal, and an unexpected transaction fee of $13.13 was charged. In the end I only received $425.87. I would like to receive the $73.13 with no transaction fee that I am owed.

It is obvious from other complaints that misrepresentation of the condition of received items is persistent and that retribution for complaints is as well. I will not be satisfied until the monetary difference is made up. Thank you.

On 9/20 they quoted me $573 per Apple iPhone 12 Pro *** submitted. I mailed them 2 iPhone ****************************** original apple box, with charger and protective wrapping/stickers for the phones. Both phones are unlocked from the carrier and both phones are in good condition. Upon receiving the phones on 9/21 Igotoffer.com downgraded the the offer to $473 per phone falsely claiming the phones are locked with ***** I called **** 2X to confirm that the phones are unlocked, both times they did confirm that after checking the **** numbers. **** sent me a text message and email confirming the iPhones are unlocked. Both the text message and email from **** were uploaded in a pdf to got offer to show proof the phones are unlocked. ********* continues to insist the phones are locked. In this case, I asked for both iPhone 12 Pro *** phones to be returned to me as I can't accept there downgraded offer based on false information. I tried to call 3x to the business and always get a voicemail for ****************. Left 2 messages and no return phone call back. I am still waiting for my 2 phones to be mailed back to me. I still have not received the tracking number on the phones being sent back. I need my phones sent back immediately or pay the original offer quoted of $573 per iPhone 12 Pro ***.

I agreed upon an offer to sell my device to this business for $963 for an unlocked iPhone 13 *********** device. I sent them the device and I always take photos of the condition before sending it. I then carefully packaged and sent the device and they received it today and now suddenly they claim its worth $200 less because of scratches on the rear camera glass and I had no scratches or anything of the sort for damages on any part of the device. I have well documented photos showing the condition of the device and each stage of packaging it. They have damaged my property, refused to repair it or make any admission of wrongdoing. They are now sending back without clearing so with me, just sending the device back damaged and they have caused malicious destruction of property and have shorted the sale of my device for the $963.00 owed to me as part of our agreement. They damaged this device and they need to fix this since this was their wrongdoing. I have multiple photos of various angles proving there is ZERO damage to any part of this phone and now they will not pay me the money that is owed to me as per the agreement.

    Hello,

iGotOffer operates and process all devices with the accordance of our Terms of Sale agreement. Prior selling the item, Customer obligated to read and agree to this agreement.

    Agreement located at:    ***********************************

    Agreement states:

    Section 12. Item Eligibility

IgotOffer, in its sole discretion, reserve the rights to refuse to purchase or cancel the sale of any devices at any time without advanced notice. If iGotOffer decides to refuse a purchase after the device has been delivered to our facility, it will be returned back to customers address.

Customer misrepresents the reason why the offer was downgraded. We never indicated that the item was damaged, customer also indicates in their message that the quote was downgraded due to scratches not the damage but them multiple times blames iGotOffer that it was damaged.

The reason for downgrade was scratches. Customers item was in the case and due to being in the case Dust gets between case and the glass of the item.  Eventually, dust may scratch the glass if the phone is sitting in the case with dust for too long. This is a common issue for devices being in the case.
We provided images of the item to the customer, but customer refused to acknowledge the issue.

In this case, since customer refused to acknowledge the issue, we decided to refuse to purchase customers device under Section 12 of our Terms of sale agreement and returned the device back to customer at our own expense

    Thank you

    [Your Answer Here]

There was never any such damage on my property when it was prepared, sent, and delivered to this company. Similarly, there is absolutely no reason other than their own fault that the phone was damaged. This company has expressly said their own terms say I am responsible for their handling and processing, I clueing them damaging the devices they take in. Therefore the company is saying they damaged my device and will not pay to repair any accrued damages on their behalf. I have no insight into their process, I am not able to oversee, supervise, or watch them process and handle my device nor would they allow such I teraction. How can I be responsible for the damage they incur of devices sent to them when they refuse to admit to any wrongdoing. This is fraudulent and acts with criminal contempt. Please feel free to explain in any such reasonable and prudent argument how in any situation that I can be held liable for your own mishandling and accrued damages? They damaged my device when it was expressly documented otherwise and they refuse to admit to any wrongdoing, and sent back damaged property to me. They need to be held accountable and fix their errors they caused.

The person who formulated this complaint is well aware of reality. Our company corresponded extensively with him, providing this person with all the photos, all the descriptions, and all the points related to his attempt to sell us his device. In response to our reasoned arguments, we never saw a single argument on his part.

The complainant repeated the same threat repeatedly, namely: - To go to court if we did not pay him the money he was not owed, but which he very much wanted. These threats were repeated a dozen times, but not once did he even try to refute our arguments, repeating the same thing.- see attached his responses

The device has been returned to him in its original condition the same condition it was received, Please see attached confirmation of delivery.
At this point, we consider the matter closed.
