  Can you post this review on the DB Pascal BBB Make sure you put 5 stars We hired this company to replace the roof on our home as well as a chimney rebuild at our lake house in Skaneateles NY. Both projects were fairly large so we ended up getting 3 estimates. I must say that their bid wasn’t the cheapest but their price ended up being extremely fair for the quality of work and service they ultimately provided. The crew was very professional and courteous from start to finish as well as their service after the sale. We would highly recommend DB Pascal to anyone.

  I've dealt with Dusty and his estimator several times, for urgent repairs (for leaks). In Fall 2023, I contracted with Dusty to do a metal roof over my garage and the one-story part of my house. It wasn't a simple installation, with different angles merging, requiring replacement of a large amount of the underlayment. (Dusty did NOT install the previous roof.) Everyone approached the "surprise!" challenges without drama, making me confident that the roof will hold up for decades. Everything was handled extremely well. Several times, I heard the workers discussing the best way to approach certain aspects of the installation. They were putting real thought into the installation, which was very refreshing. Everyone was polite and helpful throughout.

  I recently finished remolding a home and used D.B. Pascal for some roofing and chimney work. They were recommended by a co-worker, so I had them give me quotes. They seemed knowledgeable about the work to be done and their quote was within the ballpark. I got 2 others, but the reason I went with them is that I got the feeling that they were straight shooters. I gotta say that they came through. The work was done in a reasonable amount of time and I didn’t get any “hidden” charges after. I appreciated that. There was a piece of shingle that broke off like a month later with a storm and they came back and fixed it free. With so many rip offs everywhere, it was good to work with someone like Mr. Pascal and his family. (they’re all pretty tall, too) Recommend.

  In the summer of '22 I hired Dusty and Co. to build a roof over a small porch. The initial response was very positive and Dusty's right hand man came to check out what I wanted. He stated they would be there soon. Two months later they started. They placed wood support along the edges of the porch and quickly added framework. Having told them I needed to have the rotting wood removed I assumed it had been. Dusty then presented a plastic type of material he was going to use on the roof so some sun would come through. They finished in one day. When it rained a couple of days later I had a drip in two places and a downpour coming where this roof was supposed to attach to two other roofs coming from two directions. In examination, it appeared that the nails which attached the see through material had left holes which leaked. And the see through attracted debris which did not wash off and left a dirty view. Where the roof was to attach to the others house parts there was a space about three inches wide which allowed water to gush onto my porch. Dusty checked it out and so did his helper Brad. I was told they could fix it. Two months later it was still not fixed. My call brought Dusty again and he promised they would return in the spring and take care of it. Come May of '23 I called and was told I was on the list and they would come soon. A second call from me in June had the same answer...but no one showed up. In July I started calling on the first business day of the month and called every business day through the end. I was forced to leave a message each time and no one ever called me back. In August I gave up. I told a friend what had happened, he came to see the problems and said I can do that. For half of what I paid Dusty he removed rotted wood and built a roof that attached properly to the other parts of the house and has not leaked once. I am very disappointed in the way Dusty treated me and his lies about fixing my problems.
