Had Ian Powers and his crew install new gutters and snow bar around my home. Messaged him before winter started about the gutters not draining properly, but he was unable to make it out before snow started falling too heavily to safely check. During that first snow, the snow bar he installed ripped right off of the roof in almost every location it was installed. When I looked closer it had barely any screws attaching them to the roof, so of course they'd get ripped off easily. I told him about it and said that it would also need to be fixed when he came to assess the gutter draining issue. This spring I messaged him again about coming to fix the snow stop and assessing the gutters. He said he'd come by March 17th 2025 at 10am. I messaged him at 1030am on the 17th asking when he'd be arriving to only get a message back saying he needed to reschedule to the 18th because his vehicle broke down. I reluctantly said OK, but the following day when I messaged him at 1045 about what time he'd be showing up, he never answered. When I called him using my wife's phone a few days later he answered right away though. The broken snow bar has also caused damage to the gutters and roof from scraping back and forth from the wind all winter, not too mention there's no way of telling how much of any water has been leaking through the screw attachment points left behind by the snow bar. He has a 10 year warranty listed on his invoice, but with all of this he's obviously not going to fulfill it, and I wouldn't feel comfortable having this company back to my property after this anyway.
