    After good initial alterations, I commissioned four custom shirts for $1300. The result was deeply disappointing. Some of this was my fault for not being more assertive during fittings. However, problems included plastic buttons on $325 shirts, unfinished buttonholes, & the tailor never asking my collar preference.I detailed this on *********** under my name, ***** **. The tailor, **** *******, contacted me requesting deletion, claiming he was about to lose his job because of me. That seemed manipulative, since it appears to be a thriving family business of which he is a major part.Worse, they responded to my reviews by calling me a liar, attacking my character, and denying any fault. Poor quality is one thing; the unprofessional, dishonest response is unforgivable. Avoid FCO for custom work.
