I applied for a job on indeed for front desk receptionist & received a call a few days later to set up an interview, I rescheduled the interview 2 different times. The day I finally went I spoke with a woman who told me about the third party company she worked for & how Id be in different buildings checking IDs & what if have to do day in day out. She then told me I had to spend a certain amount of money for security training which was off putting because I knew places that gave you training & your security license for free & once I told her that she looked defeated. We continued to talk & the whole interview lasted about an hour , she told me I didnt have to pay that same day but if I wanted a job there was a holding spot fee of $150 & the rest of the $300 she scammed me for was for OSHA 30 hour training & after Id have to start training for security & then Id have to pay some more money along the way then Id have my license. Her bosses came in at one point while we were talking & one asked if I was signing up & she said yeah & he asked if I paid yet & she let him know I paid only $150 & he started talking aggressively & told her I needed to pay the $450 & to always charge the $450. I had recognized the mans voice because during the first call I got I was given a ********** called it 2 different times to reschedule , before the call ended I asked for the mans name just incase & he told me in a rude tone You dont need to worry about me just show up to the interview & hung up. About a day after the first call for the interview I received a call for the position again but from a different person this time it was the woman that ended up interviewing me when I asked if this was for Matrix 360 the woman said no so I just thought I had applied to two different ************ let me know there was $150 I had to pay for the proper CPR training. I told a few people I know that work in security what happened & after thinking about it I realized I got scammed
