    In April 2024 we contacted Carman-Dunne PC who was listed on the survey from when we originally purchased out hometo have an elevation certificate done on the extension we recently completed on our home. Our incorporated village was only requiring an elevation certificate to be completed for the new part of the property. This is required by our village for group flood insurance discount and for **** regulations. Carman-Dunne PC had the surveyors come to the house and take measurements/photos. They were extremely pleasant and accommodating. We paid $500 by check for the services. We waited for the certificate to be sent over and received it in a timely manner. However, the certificate was extremely incorrect. It was sent back to us because the **** certificate used was expired in 2022. All coordinates, town names, zip codes were wrong. Additionally, no photos of the flood vents were included. We contacted back for changes/fixes and the office had my husband take his own photos of the vents and send them via email. My husband contacted them via email on May 7 and 13, and left 3 voicemails. We received no response. Subsequently, my husband, ***********************, drove to business to speak with someone in person. In no way was any interaction confrontational. They assured my husband they would send the completed elevation certificate by EOD. We submitted the new certificate to our village and again, everything was incorrect. Because of the lack of communication before, we are now in the process of paying a new company to do the elevation certificate. We wanted to warn other customers of this interaction and let the business know that what they did to us was extremely unprofessional.
