Hired him to cut multiple trees down in my property in vestal. He left the fallen trees in my yard after cutting them last year because the land was too soft and it would rip it up at the time of removal. I paid him the complete amount as he promised to return and finish the job. He kept making excuses (I have all the text saved) claiming he would return and finish the job, it's been a year now and the last message he sent me was "he had removed all trees as discussed". The bill specifically stated for the cut trees to be removed. My yard is littered with logs from the trees he cut down. Hiring another company to remove that will easily cost thousands. There are more logs than what pictures shows.

    Business Response

    Date: 12/21/2023

BBB spoke to the business owner and the following was relayed:

There seems to be a miscommunication so thank you for the opportunity to clarify.  Our contract stated that I would cut the trees that were leaning and remove those cut trees.  I did that.  Every tree that we cut down was removed from his property.  The contract has been completed in full.  I believe, and I may be mistaken, but I believe that he is referring to trees and logs that were already down and dead Before I came.  Mr. Ali has swampy, gully area on his property.  I explained to him before we agreed to a contract and before I did any work that that swamp, gully area is a hazard and there is no way that I would be able to get equipment of workers back there to remove those dead, already fallen trees and logs.  I did however, cut all of the trees that he wanted down (completed the contract in full) and removed every tree that we cut down completely.  This job was completed in full 2 years ago.
