    Earlier in the year, February 2, I had 1800GOTJUNK remove a stacked washer/dryer unit from the apartment I rent. The two workers who completed the job gave me a reduced price for their services cause they managed to completely damage and crack the top interior pane of glass while removing the top part of the appliance, causing a corner of it to tilt into the window and breaking it. When I left a review regarding how unsatisfied I was with what happened I was contacted by who I assume was the manager. He had provided me with his email and number to supply him with pictures of the damages and for me to contact him. At first he had tried to locate someone in my area to do the repairs to the window and was having issues then asked if I could find someone and when I get an estimate that he would set up a check to cover the repairs. At this point I had given him my landlord's contact as well to contact him since he was the property owner. I had informed my landlord of what had happened and provided the manager's contact details to them as well. My landlord managed to find someone this past Spring to measure the window and hopefully get an estimate to get it repaired. My landlord informed me he emailed the estimate and has seen no further progress and seems to be getting the runaround from them. I am not seeking a refund of any kind, I would just like the window to be repaired.

    There are aspects of this complaint that are accurate.  We did do a job for the customer listed. We did damage the corner of the window.  We also provided a discount to the customer on the spot for the damage.  When he contacted us days later and stated that the discount was not good enough.  We offered to have the window repaired.  The customer then started to provide us handwritten quotes.  We then explained we would need a professional invoice to then pay for the job.  (we could not make a payment on random quotes) The customer then provided us with a professional quote.  He then said he did not want to come out of pocket.  We said that would be fine and I spoke with the contractor, and he agreed to bill us directly.  

    This entire time we have been willing to accommodate the customer.  This is unwarranted and not necessary.  It seems that this customer would rather us put cash in his hand then pay for the window.

    The resolution is clear and has been available this entire time.
