    Drone U is a fraudulent company stealing card information from people and trying to charge cards repeatedly. Drone U then contacted me using unprofessional tone and aggression towards the dispute I filed against their fraudulent company.

    To whom it may concern,

    Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint.

    Will all due respect, Mr. ******** is making a serious accusation that is completely unfounded.  It is certainly possible that there was fraud that occurred related to a purchase made on our site with his credit card.  However, if that is the case, it had nothing to do with us.

    We employ current technology via Stripe to do all we can to ensure only legitimate purchases make it through our payment portal.  In fact, Stripes' analytics and algorithms notify us when there is a purchase of our services that has attributes suggesting potential fraud.  We did not receive a notification of this nature with respect to the charge made with Mr. ******** credit card.

    With respect to Mr. ******** suggestion that we used an "unprofessional tone and aggression towards the dispute...".  Our belief is that this too is an unfounded accusation.  We certainly did reach out to him after being notified of the dispute that was filed. We also defended our position and indicated we always appreciate when customers and non-customers alike seek to communicate with us so that we can work with them to work out any issues.  His response was quite ugly, which we then responded to with additional information.  He then responded with vulgar language and threats.  We did not respond to his last email.

    In fact, in our last email to him (just prior to his vulgar response), we made sure to let him know we had made sure there would not be any future attempts to charge his card and that it is never our intent to accept money from someone who doesn't intend to give it to us.  We also let him know that we would not be able to process the refund from our side because of the open dispute which meant his credit card had already processed a credit on his behalf.

    As you can probably see from your side of things, we've been in business since 2014 and I believe this is the first complaint that has been made against us.

    We regret that this has occurred but also understand that if a business is around long enough these types of occurrences are not uncommon.  Making our paying members and customers in general a high priority has been a primary tenant of our business from the day we started.  We currently have happy customers all around the US and even around the world.

    We certainly hope this explanation is sufficient to keep this damaging and false complaint from being made public or affecting our standing with the BBB. If you'd like to see the email correspondence between Mr. ******** and our company we are happy to provide it.  I'm also happy to answer any questions you all may have.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    not only did this company use my credit card number to attempt to make recurring purchases even after a dispute was filed. The company is trying to speak on behalf of my credit card company but is this companies obligation to send a refund and allow the bank to make the adjustments. This representative not only disrespected me and used aggressive tone in a threatening manner they referenced me as a coward to my credit card company not knowing i’m a victim of identity theft per the filed police report and filed report to the federal government. 

    Normally legitimate businesses use professional communication skills. This company not only steals your card information they call you a coward when you call them out. They send you disrespectful emails refusing to send over a refund because I filed a dispute against a charge I didn’t recognize. It is this consumers right to do so. 

    Anybody can open an LLC and conduct fraud at anytime. If I’m going to be discriminated against, called a coward and have threading emails sent to me because they refuse to refund my credit card due to a dispute that can be resolved if they were not the cowards. 

    I suggest others stay away from this fraudulent company!
