    Stay Away DO. NOT. USE.I bought a house in ********* with a Honeywell security system. The previous owner used Vector so I decided to try them. They came out to switch the system over to me, but couldnt get the security cameras to work. In addition, they were unable to get the alarm system to work reliably remotely (a requirement since I travel a lot). They came twice more but still couldnt get the Alarm system to consistently work remotely or the cameras to function. In addition, they do not provide after-hours and weekend support for my system. If found this out when we had an alarm issuethe support people who answered the phone said they could not support my system. When complained about this and they gave me a new phone number to call for supportturns out it was the Honeywell support number for Installers onlythey also would not help me. After that, the manager never responded to my inquiries about support options for my system. Remote access and weekend/afterhours support are a must for me. Needless to say, I canceled my service (and went with another company that was able to get everything up and running successfully). Then Vector sent me a bill for over $2000 for cancelation. When I complained they said ok and I thought the matter was over. Then yesterday, after almost 3 months, I got a call from a Debt Collector. Apparently, Vector passed the invoice on to a debt collection agency! So not only are they incompetent, they are also vindictive. STAY AWAY!
