      I received a statement from Genesis Lab on May 11, 2024 for some services that they claimed were done on April 29, 2019, 5 years after the services were supposedly done. I am billed for $658.04. I have no idea what was done or why. I called their billing department on May 13, 2024 and spoke to a supervisor who told me because I am in the state of **, they are within the statue of limitation and they can bill us even 5 years later. I asked for proof of services but she said the statement is all they have to provide to me. She also told me that the reason I am getting the statement 5 years later because they are cleaning up. She further told me I can complain to her as a supervisor, but she's not going to do anything. She was directed by this company to not adjust the charges for patients. Sending patients a significant bill 5 years after the services was done and expect the patients to remember whether the services were legit or whether these were paid is ridicules. Since they cannot provide any additional details, I am reasons to believe Genesis Laboratory Management, LLC is trying to scram patients.

      I received a notice from this company in September 2023 for payment in the amount of $513 for processing a *****19 test on December 12, 2020. The company alleged the test was administered at ************************** in *******, **********. I never was tested at this location and in fact I had called ************************** to check if perhaps I was mistaken, Provided my contact information and date of alleged test. The pharmacy had no record of my being there for a test. Rather than receiving a follow up notification from Genesis Laboratory Management, who after discussing the matter with me, advised they would reply after investigating, I received a notice from SAVIT ****************** ************** ** on September 22, 2023 requesting payment for $513. The town i live in administered *****19 tests to residents on 12/12/20, but without cost to town residents. I believe this test may have been affiliated with the pharmacy in question and mistakenly sent the testing processing company my insurance information and billed *************** Shield. I checked with the township and confirmed there was no charge for the ***** test on 12/12/23. I am being harassed now by the collection agency. In addition, it is illegal to send a bill after 2 years have passed. it is now 3 years.

      The patient received a check from the insurance company in the amount of $513, which was intended to be forwarded to Genesis. However, the patient did not send the payment. As a result, the account has been referred to collections and is now closed on Genesis' end.

      06/16/23 I recieved a bill $412.40 for Culture test.We paid it in full'On 9/23/23 recieved another bill $461.16 bill showed my last amount $412.40 was recieved,They have been PAID infull already and dont want anymore threating notices that they will send me to collection agency.*********************

      Upon reviewing the account, we found that the patient was billed for two different dates of service. The patient was contacted and informed that the charges corresponded to two separate dates of service. The patient has since paid the balances. This account has been closed on Genesis' end.
