    I called ***** to ask for an estimate to fix my system. They said it was cheaper to get a new system. I was charged $90.63. I was never told that there would be a charge to come out & give me an estimate.I paid the charge, but I think it was deceptive & bad business practice.

    Good afternoon, 

     

     

    RR Irrigation received a request for service from ****************************** on April 28th, 2022. A service crew of two men was dispatched to her residence on June 8th, 2022. The purpose of the service was to investigate the extent of the damage to the irrigation system as the system has not been run for seven years. The crew traveled from the first appointment they were on, to ********************************** house from 9:39am to 9:53am. After some diagnostics, the crew discovered that the isolation valve to the system had been left on for seven years and the system was not winterized properly. ****************************** asked the crew to turn off the isolation valve so no water could pass to the system, which was done. The crew finished work at her residence at 10:34am. ****************************** was charged for our standard dispatch fee of $85.00+tax, she was not charged for any of the time the crew spent diagnosing any issues outside before being allowed inside to see the isolation valve. ****************************** and I were corresponding via email, which I can provide if required, and although I attempted to keep the conversation civil ****************************** would respond to me in all caps font, ignoring questions I would ask as I attempted to resolve the issue. ****************************** ended our email correspondence by blocking my email address, making it so I could not continue to speak with her regarding this issue. It is our position that we are rightfully owed the dispatch fee for the time the service crew spent at Mrs. ************** residence.

    I am rejecting this response because: I do not agree with the response.

      I was not told in advance of service call fee to examine system.  Company has not denied that they did not tell me in advance that there would be a fee.
