Extremely slow response, if any. Ongoing and hazardous structural issues go unaddressed. Have zero knowledge of our governing documents. They don't seem to know the law either. If you ask a question, they say, "Let me check and I'll get back to you." Then you never hear from them. In some cases they hide the truth. I cannot recommend this company to take on such an important responsibility.

I have searched our database, you are not an Owner or Resident of any Association we manage, this review is obviously fake or you are not educated on how Association Management works. Additionally, every single one of our Association clients is in compliance with the Structural Integrity Law. We are not attorneys and cannot comment on legalities regarding the governing documents. We do not hide truth, we seek it and provide it to our clients. We work for the Board of Directors who make all decisions, we do not have a vote or say in the matter. The Board is the decision make, Management puts it in place and sees it through.

If you are looking for a property management company to handle your needs, I strongly suggest you avoid Cedar Crest Property Management. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. The roof in my unit has been leaking for months, causing mold, mildew, dampness, and damage to my unit. The ***** matter from dead birds, rodents, and insects has had a barrier to the entry of my vents throughout my condo due to a broken airflow vent cap on the side of my condo which has added to the health hazards, and the constant wheezing and itchy eyes are unbearable. Despite numerous requests for assistance, the property management team has shown a complete lack of urgency and unprofessionalism in addressing these issues.Their unresponsiveness and incompetence have put my health and safety at risk, and I am appalled at how they have handled this situation. It's clear that they do not prioritize the well-being of their condo owners and likely tenants, and I cannot in good conscience recommend this company to anyone. In summary, if you value your health and safety, stay away from Cedar Crest Property Management. They are unprofessional, and incompetent, and do not prioritize the needs of the condo owners and communities they serve.Lastly, this entire community has had ongoing issues with the leaking roof in my unit and many other units in this complex. It has now reached a critical point where my health and safety along with others are at risk, and action needs to be taken immediately. The constant leaking has resulted in mold, mildew, and dampness in my unit, causing me to suffer from a stuffy nose, wheezing, and itchy eyes due to the harmful bacteria and fungi that are present. As someone with asthma, this is especially concerning for me.DO NOT USE CEDARCREST, their team ***** ********, and ****** are a disaster, play games, do not know how to communicate, nor are responsive or competent.

********************,As explained by my staff and myself multiple times, your situation is a unique case which our hands are tied due to the construction lawsuit against the building's developer., which has been ongoing for over 2 years now. The ***************** of Directors, along with the Association's legal counsel will not permit ** to perform any real repairs other than temporary stop gap repairs which as you know are not effective with a flat commercial roof. It is not our decision, it is not our money, we cannot make the repairs without prior approval from the Board and legal counsel, or it will negatively impact the Association's lawsuit against the developer. To post a review with inaccuracies and outright lies against my company Cedarcrest Property Management, is not fair or acceptable in any situation. We have no control over this situation. I have been in contact with you and have tried to explain and help you within the limits of my power. You should post this review against the Association's developer/builder, who you purchased your unit from it is completely their fault for the serious building defects and shoddy workmanship that are causing your issues. Cedarcrest Property Management will continue to update and advise you as the lawsuit progresses. We are making more temporary repairs later this week to hopefully help your situation. As soon as the lawsuit is settled and the Association receives the funds owed from the Developer/builder, your unit and the building roof will be completely repaired/replaced - whatever is necessary to correct the issue properly and permanently.

Cedarcrest is an excellent property management company. The owner stands firmly behind his employees and everyone here works very hard to provide top-shelf services to the properties. All property management companies are limited in terms of what they are permitted to do, but at the end of the day Cedarcrest does a great job managing and improving properties. Even in difficult post-*********** where most locations experience significant decline and turmoil, Cedarcrest-managed locations instead have steady improvements, which is a big statement in these times. Property Management of condo associations is a little like government except with a lot less power. With city and state government, inspectors come and say fix this and that is basically what has to happen or else huge fees or legal action ensues. But with property management companies its we recommend you fix this, but that does not mean the ********************** has the finances to do it or has the same interest to do it, sometimes creating disgruntled homeowners/tenants. It is too easy to go online and write negative reviews, but had they been on the board of the Association they would quickly learn just how difficult it is to make very important decisions and why change takes a good amount of time. Joining an ***************** is an excellent opportunity to learn and understand why government is slow and often inefficient: it is simply impossible to please everyone and finances are limited. With that understood, Cedarcrest does a great job balancing the requirements and wants of ********************** board members, owners, tenants, the bylaws of the property, government, insurance, and all of the many vendors who service a property, all while keeping costs and services affordable and still making progress. I highly recommend this firm.

Cedarcrest Property Management is a horrible company. For the past 3 years since they took over management of Hilltop Villas in *********** they have excessively increased the *** maintainence fees annually to $711.35 per month. They ignored requests to repair damage to property .they created. Cedarcrest continues to make increases for services not rendered. They need to be investigated.
