      Megabus issued a message indicating a bus was delayed by an estimated hour. They also indicated that if may arrive earlier than the hour. They advised the customers to wait at the location. No notice was to be provided if the bus was to arrive early. it's a 100 degrees and there is no shelter. if you seek shade and the bus arrives earlier than the one hour estimated delay it will leave without you. When asking for an explanation from customer service about waiting outside for an hour in 100 degrees they simply said that's the policy. i asked for a manager and the name of the agent. the agent hung up after refusing to provide a name stating "why do you need my name". I called back and asked for a refund as it unreasonable to ask people to wait in 100 degree temps for an hour and was given the same answer. No refunds. Between being hung-up on by a service agent and providing no allowance for waiting in shelter this seems highly unprofessional and clearly not a "customer service" that is helpful. Very dissappointed. Very dangerous. Very unsafe to make people wait outside in 100 degree weather.

      I took the bus from ********* ** to ******* ******. The bus driver arrived 50 minutes late, got to ******* bus station, during the driver switch the engine starter died and we were stranded for over 2 hours!! Finally a replacement bus arrives, crossed the border, but then driver had to drop us off mid way due to scheduling issues, we were stranded in ********** ** for a good 30 min until another bus showed up. Long story short what was suppose to be a 4.5 hour trip ended up being over 7 hours long! Thats nearly double the time. This is totally unacceptable, I did not receive the full service I paid for, not to mention the inconvenience of waiting for hours, switching multiple buses, and getting home 4 hours later. This is all because of the **** poor mechanical/electrical maintenance Reservation Number 13-7012-080622-M24R-1505-ROC-TOR

      Megabus canceled my service, offered a refund within 14 days, and thrice denied my refund request originally submitted on day 12.

      Driver threatened to close the doors and leave if people didn't line up properly, despite there being no signage whatever as to where to line up. And a broken seat.

      I booked a bus trip going from ******** to ******** on 21 of July at 13:00pm. The bus driver's attitude is very bad, and shows no respect to the passengers. He seemed in a rush, and yells, and theatened to stop the bus when someone was using phone speaker for the very first time. He said and I quote:" I'm gonna stop the bus, I know what to do with you people."Although personally I didn't put the speaker on,the threat still concerned me a lot. Also, when I ask him to please open the A/C on the Upper level beacuse I did't feel the usual coolness coming over as I experienced in the past, he rudely yelled and just tell me to wait.Yet I am feeling suffocating on the Upper deck. I have NEVER, EVER, had similar experience on a mega bus where the driver would threaten to stop the bus, or tell us to simply wait for the ** to run, it is hot and suffocating.[In the past times, A/C fully functions once the bus started.]I hope this letter finds the person's in charge well, and I hope to receive a serious response fast. Thank you.

      The seat in front of me was broken and was completely on me the entire journey. Paid $70 for entire ride from Scarborough to ******** and ended with a tiring and painful journey of 7.5 hrs.

      Traveling from ********* to *********. Arrived an hour early to the location provided, construction was going on in the area and my bus driver previously hadnt known where to drop me off at. I watched another bus pull up and I asked if they were mega bus and they said no so I continued to wait even after my departure time finally a coach USA bus pulled around but it NEVER STOPPED. I sat waiting at the location for 5 more hours calling customer service waiting on hold for ***** minutes each time I called, being transferred to a supervisor who also was not able to locate the bus and finally after 5 hours of waiting in the hot weather I was told the bus arrived on time and I missed it. So I sent them an email and the situation has yet to be resolved. So I was forced to buy another ticket for the next day. Again arriving an hour before departure, waiting outside again in the heat at the correct location. This time there were 4 other people also waiting for the bus. A different bus company again pulled around first and again was not Megabus. We waited for an hour and a half for no bus to show up, no help with customer service, nobody could locate the bus. By this point it has been a scam, a waste of money and a loss of wages by missing work because of this company. Would absolutely not recommend this fraud of a company.

      Megabus used a different bus line for my bus from ** to ********, ** without notifying me, making me miss the bus I came 20 minutes early looking for. If youre going to use a different bus line let your customers know so they can plan accordingly and know which bus to approach and which one to avoid. I was already on the fence about using their service after a separate incident facing a 3 hour delay for my bus at night in a dangerous part of the city, but this incident has convinced me that Megabus is no longer worth my money or time and Ill be taking my business elsewhere.
