This company charged over $17000. to add siding & replace some roofing to the house. Within months of the aluminum casement around the windows one window started to buckle. ******* said it was the sun rays reflecting off of the neighbors' windows casing the problem. I said that this was not possible since by the time the sun was high enough to reflect, the rays were hitting the ground. Some months later, the kitchen windows trim came loose. ******* complained that it was due to high winds causing the problem. There are 3 evergreen trees in the back of the house on this side of the house which greatly reduce the wind. Now a few years after the initial window buckled a couple of the framing around it has come loose. *******'s complaint is that the wood is rotten. How can the wood become rotten after it had been protected by the aluminum? What ever wood condition it was there before they started their work. If the wood had gotten worse, then they did a poor job of installing the trim. A written estimate was given for $100 to fix the problem with NO guarantee. How dependable, reliable is a contractor when he doesn't guarantee their work? The cable for the tv antenna was fasten on the side of the house for well over 30 years. After the siding was installed, they poorly fasten it back to the wall, but it has come loose a couple times. It is presently flapping in the wind. The problem with the **************** is that the wrong small fasteners were used. If larger fasteners or screws were used, we would not be having this problem. They used larger fasteners on the kitchen & the problem has not return.I am looking for the company to correctly re-install the aluminum trim to the window at NO cost to me. Also, to re-connect the tv cable to the wall correctly.
