    Hired based on a referral as a handyman in addition to painting services to repair The repair work agreed to do for $3000, then increased to $3400 was to: 1) repair rotted window sills, paint them and single coat the window sills that are not rotted to protect them. complete, in just 8 month, some windowsills have already deteriorated, showing mold and the composite used breaking down cracking. essentially did not use a good approach to repair or the perhaps not the right product. 2) restore front steps using new wood, and a filler (like sand) that would sure up and hold up and not wash away under the brick landing, Use existing bricks or new bricks on landing. Work never done. 3)install new wood railing on the yard deck. Completed but again in 8 months the wood split in multiple places. Was advised not to prime until spring 2023. I have numerous emails and texts to this company as they delayed and delayed doing the steps that were to be completed before winter that I lost all confidence in the skill to complete the job. I asked for a refund of the $400 he said would be for the front steps and he has completely ignored this. He said he bought the wood, well if that is true I want the wood supplies or $400. This company was not skilled to do properly what was needed, and I went on a refferal that I should have vetted better. Its took months and months for him to do the work he did as he said it was either , "no help", "weather", "another customer" or "too far to drive as gas is too expensive" I would like help resolving this complaint and making sure it does not happen to another home owner.
