Wired internet issues. Called several times, waited on hold for hours. Finally was given a case number regarding my issue. Called back to follow up and was finally able to talk to a manager. Manager told me technician would come and fix my Ethernet port. The technician never showed up on the given date and time for the appointment.

In 2015 I purchased a condo that includes internet and direcTV. I contacted *********** which was called access media back then paid the fee had them come out installed the box. In 2017 I rented the unit I contacted access media. We transferred the modem and cable box to the tenant and then the tenant moved out in 2022. The equipment shouldve been upgraded but now is worthless as its old technology and doesnt work on their system. I contacted them to have them account put back in my name and they said itll be $75. Why since I had an account it was originally my equipment that they needed to upgrade. Everyone else in the complex received a free upgrade . Why are they charging me money? The account is under ************************* and my telephone number ************ acct# ********

I live in an apartment where I work from home. They use this ISP. There are constant issues with the internet. Today, the internet is completely offline. Other days, you have less than a single megabit of upload speed. Other days, the same thing but for download speed. Additionally, you guessed it, there are days where both of these issues occur and constant latency of 1000+ ms. **** is absolutely unacceptable. You can call but they dont have any fix for you. They cant do anything for you. Even if they say they can, they wont call you for another week just to circle around to see if the issue resolved itself. I literally cannot work from home, this is actually affecting my developer position. How is it possible that I have to pay for such an awful service, with no alternative?

I moved into my new apartment mid March, which utilizes Single Digits for Wireless throughout the building. The company gives me no control to create my own wireless passwords, I contacted their technical support in early April in regards to issues I had with their lack of password complexity. There are no numbers or symbols for their passwords and there appears to be no limit on the amount of characters required. I requested their assistance in allowing me to setup my own router to run Wifi in my apartment unit and also requested their assistance to connect my PS5 gaming console thru a wired connection as opposed to wireless, for faster downloading capabilities. It is now early June and I have yet to receive proper assistance. The technical support they've provided has been useless, (respectfully, they have all been nice, but nobody is capable of providing proper support). I've had tickets open with no resolution for weeks now and it's absolutely ridiculous.

This is a prime example that Free Market does no longer exists in *****************. The scheme is the following and hundreds of ****** Reviews are backing up my claims (April 2024, ****** Rating is 1.4 starts. One. Point. Four).- the appartment complex (student dorm, retirement home...) signs the contract with Single digits - Tennants are forced to use Single Digits, as there is no other providers allowed at the property (****** is applauding)- Service is abysmal at first - Once something gets broken, the service becomes non-existent - the problem is never fixed If you want to rent your appartment at the building/complex that has a contract with Single Digits, you can rest assured that it's a problematic company. The Landlord will impose several other ***** "services" that would be equally abysmal. If you see that you cannot choose your own internet - walk away.My only mistake was that I came from **************, and I was 100% sure that ******* is a free-market country. Schemes like this existed in USSR (not ******, but USSR before 1980's).I'm surprised that the described business practice is legal, because it looks like a monopoly. All the tennants from ******************, 3402 ******** (*******), ***** should be reimbursed. They have honestly paid for the internet 15 months x 50 dollars = 750 dollars, and they have not received the promissed service. If the internet was not working 1/2 of the time, each resident should be reimbursed at least 1/2 (or in full, so they learn the lesson). In my country, it's called a scam, and the scammer should be liable, so the scam doesn't become rampant. I don't know how it works in ******* and how this scam is classified. Mayble it's legal and normal, I don't know.

Hi- ********* on ******** Condominium Association 'Owner' has asked to discuss our contract with Single Digits 'Provider' (noted in our contracts as Access Media) since 2022. Referenced below are notable instances that Provider has not remedy the request: • Multiple calls and emails were made to note the ongoing outreach to Single Digits to provide notice to cancel service prior to the 90 days renewal date- December 28, 2022 by Owner’s Board of Directors, ***** ******* *********** (former management company for Owner), and preferred new vendor • Notice to cancel service with Single Digits was mailed First Class (September 8th and September 15th 2022 ) 90 days before the contract end date (noted as December 28, 2022). The cancelation requests were mailed to ****** ***** ********, LLC at *** ******** ****** ***** **** *** ****** *** ***** • New vendor submitted a signed contract (dated May 2022) on behalf of Owner to ******* that was rejected due to Single Digits denial of receiving cancelation notice(s) Unable to attach PDF's of Provider's contracts referenced above due to file size. I've attached the preferred vendors contract.

I live in a college apartment complex at *** and Single Digits is our internet provider. The internet service they provide is not sufficient for our complex. I have 4 roommates and we each have our own service/account. My roommate did not have any service through the ethernet connection and was unable to use his computer. I did have internet service in my bedroom but as of three weeks ago that stopped working. Every time we call this company, which is in another state, they say the same thing, "We have to find a technician". After 6 weeks of this, we finally got an appointment scheduled with a technician. However, after waiting all day, the technician never showed up. No phone call either. It is absolutely unacceptable for us to be paying for a service that is not provided. You cannot reach anyone at the actual company. It's a call center and when I ask to have a manager call me, it never happens. I googled this company and it's nothing but awful reviews of similar complaints. I will be filing complaints with the Attorney Generals Office and FCC. How a company is allowed to remain in business while accepting payment for a service they aren't providing is unbelievable.

I have been without internet since August 2023. It is now January 2024!. I have put in tickets to be told someone is coming to fix the issue. They don't show up for 2 months then when they show up they tell me they are ordering a new box and returning in a week and then don't show up for another 2 months! When they come back now 4 months later they tell me again oh you need a new box I'll order one and get this fixed. 5 months later I still have not recieved my box nor has my internet been fixed! Noone has returned despite being told I have a scheduled appointment. Most recently I was supposed to have an appointment January 10 2024. I cleared my work schedule and stayed at home all day and no one showed to my apartment. This is getting ridiculous. I'm paying $80 a month for service I cannot use. Someone needs to get to me asap and we need to discuss reimbursement for services not received. Please respond via email so that I have everything in writing.

I am the cosigner for my son's UNCC apartment, The ***** in *********, NC, operating under ******** ****** Communities at UNCC. Internet service is "provided" by Single Digits through a contract with ******** ****** Communities, not directly to the student renters. Over 21 apartments at The **** have had no internet since at least January 8, 2024. When students attempt to resolve the issue through The ****'s office (H*****) on location, they are told to handle the issue themselves directly with Single Digits. Subsequent inquiries for assistance at the front office promise an almost always unavailable manager will contact the students to no avail. After five visits/calls/emails to the front office, plus five attempts for assistance from Single Digits tech support, we are filing a BBB complaint. We will also place formal complaints with the UNCC Housing Department, Single Digits BBB, and the NC AG and continue up the ladder until consistent and effective results for an internet provider are achieved. (Single Digits advised the next available tech appointment on location is at least 2 to 3 weeks out, and someone will have to get back to the renters to schedule the appointment. Please keep in mind these are college students in student-only housing without internet access during college semesters in 2024. The outages at this location are regular (see reviews), and the Single Digits rating is 1.25 out of 5. I want the internet service available immediately to all students at The ***** a dependable internet service provider contracted, and a fair refund provided to each renter depending upon days of no internet service. If students are your targeted market, then at least provide reliable and usable internet service and be actively involved in a resolution. Single Digits Case #*****195, no record, case, or tracking # provided by on-site property management.
