I purchased a Generator from this business in 2021. They sold a maintenance contract to maintain it. This year I found another provider who can perform the same service for less cost. I have been calling, texting and emailing to cancel their maintenance program and request to cancel and prorate the cost. They continue to avoid me. This is bad customer service. I certainly recommend that current customers should seek elsewhere. Franchised dealer should do better.

We recently had our generac backup generator installed July 2022. We also purchased the service plan through generator Supercenter of North *******. They performed the bi annual service (a couple months late past the 6 month ***** on 4/10/2023 and upon their service there was an oil leak in the new unit. They shut off the back up generator until they can send a service agent to assess and fix. It is under warranty so all is covered however I have been calling since 4/11/2023 to get an appointment. Just an appointment - but no one can help with that. I have called several times to which I get the same response that no one is in the office by the receptionist. I even asked for the supervisor and owners and they are never in. No call backs. On their web page they advertise 24 hour service as part of the service plan. I have a critical business where I need back up power - hence why I need this back up and running. Just looking for a call back and schedule, and to follow through on what they advertise.

    BBB,

My co-owner and I have personally gone out to visit ************** at his home to make sure there was resolution.   The process has been back on track and we feel ************** is satisfied with where he stands on the performance that was necessary to get his job completed.   There was a change in ownership during his lead up to and install.   We have addressed those issues internally and feel ************** is comfortable with Generator Supercenter today and moving forward.   We look to with anticipation in being able to continue to service his needs.

Purchased a$12,000.00 22 KW generator which requires installation. I have paid 2/3 of the cost and I would pay a final installment when it would be completed. The installer has failed to complete the job. The city/county failed the inspection because the installer failed to seperate the required distance between the generator and the local gas utility regulator which is ******** ******* Gas. This process has taken entirely too long. The installer needs to exercise due diligence and move the generator to a SAFE distance away from the utility regulator. The sales contract for this project was signed on 2/23/2022. A 2nd payment was paid on 8/3/2022 when generator was installed and connected to the utility gas line incorrectly thus failing inspection. We wish this job completely installed per manufacturers detailed instructions OR Refund the entire amount, remove the generator and all of its contents and restore our landscaping so it will return to its original look before the project.

We have had multiple conversations with the homeowner and have reached an agreement as to the next step.  We are scheduling our technicians to visit next week to move the generator to the agreed location.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********.   After my complaint a dialogue of communication and action was initiated. Last evening my generator was completed and is operating at my level of expectation. I am now satisfied with their response, action and the final result.
