  Back in 2020, ******************* amended my 2018 taxes, showing I would be receiving $2,143 from the *** and $466 from **. Each year that went by after 2020 was another year without receiving my refund of $2,609. Each year she had a different reason as to why I had not received the refund yet.After I finally got ahold of the *** this year I was told by the ***, there was no 2018 amendment filed. *** signed the paper for this amendment two years in a row and the *** didnt even have it. I dont believe she ever mailed it. After serval attempts to contact my accountant to make this right she said the *** is losing amendments and shed have her admin resubmit. Over a week went by and she didnt resubmit I contacted her back on July 6, 2023 and the 2018 amendment still hasnt been resubmitted.However this week (august 2 2023) she emailed it to me and told me to do it myself. Ive paid her $450 back in the spring to do my taxes, I just found out shes not even a CPA in the ***********. She completely dropped the ball on this and *** paid her to consult which she wont even respond to my phone calls. Thank you for taking the time to review my issue. -***************************

  Mr ******** contracted LL Consulting on 5/25/2020 to file 2019 returns and prepare amendments for 2018. We did exactly that and provided him a copy at that time. 2018 was mailed as a gesture of good faith on his behalf. We were not contracted to follow up on the filing. Every time Mr. ******** contacted our office, the response was the same, please contact the *** for information on this return. Since it was done during the pandemic, the *** was very behind on processing. I gave Mr ******** all the information I had seen on accountant boards, but always advised he needed to call himself. Since I did not have a power of attorney on him, I was unable to call on his behalf. In addition, he was not wiling to pay my hourly rate to sit on hold with the ***. When he informed me that the amendment was not in the *** system, I told him I would pull the file so we could get the exact dates and original signatures to send back in again. He did not provide us ample opportunity to get to our storage unit and go through the 2018 files that were set aside for shredding and no longer in folders or order. I again provided him with the return in an email when I advised him he was not giving me time to properly retrieve it. 

  Our company went above and beyond what we were actually hired to do and we are not responsible for the *** issues. All of his other returns from 2019-2022 were processed correctly.

  I am rejecting this response because:
  ********************* communication was afwul and vague. As the emails Ive sent show, the explanations she left in the BBB response were more detailed and understandable then what shed respond to me with each time I contacted her.. ****** is wrong when she says she offered me her hourly rate to research the problem. As you can see from the corresponding emails, that was never offered. She never told me she checked accountant boards or did anything  to help me figure out from the problem. It was just vague excuses to get me to go away, as if I were bothering her. That is unacceptable seeing that she was paid to consult and did not do that.
