Tullock Auto does not complete work as promised. Tullock and I agreed to certain modifications to the engine in my 87 Mustang GT to boost the ** to about *******, and that with the specified mods it would be just like having a brand new 347 Stroker which was slightly more $$$. He said it would take two weeks but it actually took him 4 months and i was given one excuse after another. When I finally got it, it was backfiring. When I brought it back again he again said he fixed it but it still backfired. I brought it to another mechanic who fixed everything (for $3000) **** screwed up and my new mechanic eventually told me he did not make the specific modifications he had promised and that my rebuilt engine was still basically stock. **** also forgot to reattach a certain filter that stopped fumes from entering the driver/passenger area. All this after **** said he worked on these before, rebuilt many others, and worked at a local **** dealership for many years. His workmanship was poor, as was his customer service was worse, and I wouldn't even give him one star. I've asked for a $2000 reimbursement which he has not responded to. DO NOT USE TULLOCK AUTO REPAIR.

Thank you for reaching out regarding this negative customer review. We have been in business since 1991 and are family owned and operated. We work on many hot rods, classics and daily drivers and take great pride in our work. We did install an engine in this customers vehicle and received an email last week from him stating he was not happy with the horsepower of his engine and that he was having emission issues.  He is demanding a two-thousand-dollar refund.  We have emailed him several times and have also tried to contact him by phone, but he simply will not respond. The engine was removed at our location in December 2023 and taken to our machine shop, Quality Auto Machine, in ******, **************. We have continuously used this machine shop for our engine rebuilding for over 30 years. The engine was a complete rebuild of his original engine with an additional 30 thousandths over, a comp torque Cam installed with Hyper Forged Pistons.  The horsepower is more than a stock engine rebuild.  The customer originally wanted a 347 Stroker Engine but stated he could not afford it.  We offered the option of upgrading his stock engine which he accepted and agreed on a deposit amount for the machine shop to rebuild his engine. The engine was rebuilt, installed and delivered to our customer March 2024. All emissions, catalytic converter and EGR was removed prior to us working on this vehicle.  I have a copy of the invoice I can forward for your records if necessary.  Please let me know if there is anything additional, we can do.  We have asked him to contact us, we have tried to contact him by phone, we have emailed, and he is only requesting a refund.  Thanks so much for your assistance.  You are welcome to call us as well at ************ Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm.
