    I brought my $1000 laptop to this establishment on July 29th to get the screen replaced. The owner charged me a $100 deposit fee for the service and part to be ordered. After they got the part needed, August 6th, I dropped my laptop off with the owner. Within the same day, I received a call from him informing me that the power was no longer working in the laptop. We agreed the deposit would be refunded, the remaining invoice would be canceled, and the original screen would be put back in the laptop. To this day, August 31st, I have not yet received that refund nor has the invoice been canceled. I also discovered that the laptop's lack of power was a result of him not properly replacing the screen, causing the motherboard to short. I also incurred additional damages of at least $400 from getting the files extracted and purchasing a cheap laptop to continue work and school. I have attempted many times to contact him about these damages for reimbursement. These attempts include multiple: Phone calls, text messages, emails, ******** message, support ticket, and in-person visits (he was not there any of the times during his own posted hours). None of these were answered once he knew I was looking for reimbursement. I am currently seeking legal counsel, and filing a dispute against the deposit with my bank.
