    Epoxy Magic installed epoxy coating on my basement floor. Issues with flooring are:Jagged points throughout the floor causing an unsafe living environment. Points are capable of cutting into skin.The floor was not grinded as quoted and epoxy flooring was laid over an unprepared floor. Raises in the floor show the glue lines of previous carpet. There are multiple bumps and mounds throughout the flooring showing the uneven coating.There are numerous holes in the floor that are visible Flooring color is inconsistent throughout.On Friday July 26th representatives of Epoxy Magic arrived at 10:41 AM to provide an estimate on installing epoxy flooring for my basement. After measuring the total floor space and looking at areas that needed repair a quote of $3500 was provided. Questions asked during quote that are relevant to the complaint:Does their floor grinder use hepa filters? Answer: Yes, we use a diamond grinder that has HEPA filters.Epoxy Magic arrived on August 2 at 8:20AM. Epoxy Magic left at 9:52AM. text sent stating all flaked and will be tomorrow to fill in some spots. Epoxy Magic arrived on August 3 at 7:55AM. Epoxy Magic left at 8:48AM stating they would return the next day to work on sealing Epoxy Magic arrived at 7:52AM Epoxy Magic asked for payment at 9AM. A check for 3500 was written. Due to the sealant curing I was unable to review the work.On Monday after reviewing the floor I texted Epoxy Magic asking them to come by to address some areas. They agreed to come the next day (Tuesday) or Wednesday. I texted on Wednesday at 11:13AM asking for at ETA and received no reply. I called and left a voicemail at 1:38PM advising of the issues and needed someone to contact me.
